He didn't see his best friend through out the rest of day. but when school was over for the day and he was heading back home, he heard someone speak behind him.
"We've been friends for years yet you push me onto the dirt just to get to seat at their table during lunch"
He didn't know how to reply.
They had been best friends for seven years.
Seven years of his life had been spent with him.
10 seconds of silenced had gone by, "You're not even going to apologize"
The word 'sorry' fell out of his mouth quietly and unconvincingly
His friend just laughed bitterly and said "It's funny how people change in the worst way possible for the saddest of things"
And then he walked away, not even shooting a glance in his direction
