he didn't understand though; surely she should know what he's going through.
she should've understood that to be popular, you'll have to do some things you're not proud of.
she should've understood that this was hard for him.
she should've understood because she was one them.
her words still rang in his ears,

he didn't like to admit it, but he knew it too.
he didn't like what he was doing but he did it so he could be accepted.
even though he was crushing the people that were now underneath him.
