I was pretty scared and couldn't go to sleep till morning. The hostel guardian shouted through the microphone "Come on girls, mornings due" I turned to Cassie who looked pale and asked

"Did you sleep?"

"Peacefully" She grabs a bottle and drinks from it "You?"

"No,my head still hurts,well at least it's morning" I fold my duvet and say "I hope today's better..."

"It's your first day, surely... its going to be great, now excuse me 'cause I need to take a shower."she undressed in front of me, so unbothered. She smiles at me "The tattoo is the nagual symbol"

"And what is that?"

"You wouldn't understand" She ties a towel and heads to the bathroom, how can she have that on her back? And what is a 'nagual'?.
    
I took a deep breath wondering if it's just me or this school is strange as hell, Outside looked so peaceful, and then I saw men and women in black walking around the school garden.

  They opened an underground door and some of them entered while few guarded the entrance, I try to get a closer look but was distracted by Cassie's voice.

"I'm done!" She places her hand on my shoulder "What are you looking at?"

"Actually..." I turn around and see nothing, I was so sure of the people there and now they're gone. "Nothing"

After lunch, I hurried to class even though I was a bit early, I wanted to be sure I knew my way... mostly asking random people for directions.

"You like it don't you?"an unfamiliar girl with two other girls by her side ask, they all looked alike and had multicolored hair.

"Yes"

"So you're new here, am I right Michelle?"

    How did she know my name?, deep breaths Michelle, they're a bunch of weirdos here.

"I guess you're also wondering how we knew your name."

"No... not really, and you are?" I stretch my hand forward contemplating who I should shake, they look at each other and laugh. I just assume they are the brats of the school.

"Come on girl, stop pretending that you don't know what this school is about, what we are" The one with brown hair says "Unless..."

Cassie comes from behind "Tanya, Kimberly, Kate... what are you doing here?"

"Surprised Cassandra?,I thought you would be among the screaming girls the other night" Kimberly twists her Kate's wavy hair, she's the only quiet one among them.

"If I was there, surely you guys would be next"

"We are strong Nagual: don't underestimate us" Kate says bitterly.

"What?" I can't believe what I'm hearing, I look at the map trying to steer clear of their insanity.

"I didn't hear it though, we both didn't... it's only next victims that do"

"You didn't hear it?,  maybe you are just as dumb as the humans" Okay... Kimberley is definitely a cynist, she smiles as quickly as she says that "We'll see you around Michelle, bye Cassandra"

As Kimberly and the group walked away, Cassie and I go to the library, she warns me about talking to random people and I should keep away from them then we headed to the class.

"Good day class" A fancy professor comes in with lots of books, he shares the books and stops when he sees me.
