Tempted: A Demetri and Heidi Love Story

Bella's Pov

Edward had been gone for far too long. I was sure he was explaining everything to my niece, because she would surely have that many questions.

I was then worried about why she was out alone at this time of day. And what about Noela?

I shook my head. Noela had always been jealous of Heidi. Though, if she saw herself in vampire eyes, she would be so much prettier than she thought she was.

I loved Heidi and Noela. I never shared more love for one than the other. And I would never do that to either one of them.

I was now becoming worried. What was taking so long? Edward drove much quicker than any other did, so what was the hold up? Does he even understand the circumstances of the situation?

Of course he does. I scolded myself. I looked into the mirror, taking in the beauty j had gained from my transformation many years ago. I was breathtakingly beautiful.

Edward always insisted that I was always beautiful, even as a human, but I disagreed entirely.

I heard a knock on the front door and I quickly rushed to answer it. I opened the door widely, gasping as I took in who it was.

"Ah, Bella. We just came to talk to you about Demetri. He has apparently fallen in love with a human." Jane said in her dead monotone.

"Wait, you mean.... like fallen in love... Already?" I asked in a high voice. I could not allow this to happen.

"Yes and apparently he has fallen for your niece..." Alec and Jane said to together.

"No. I will not allow her to be dragged into this lifestyle. She doesn't deserve this. Tell him no. He cannot love her." I growled harshly. This was not ever going to happen.

"The thing is that she has a potential gift. She is much more beautiful than even vampires, and that could lead to a possibly controlling kind of gift. I know Aro would like that in the coven."

"I said no." I snarled at then.

"I'm afraid that it is too late... And I have one more announcement for you, Mrs. Cullen." Jane said to me.

"And that is?" I asked her, rolling my eyes at her. She smiled at me, as if she was about to ruin my life.

"It appears that Demetri isn't the only one who had fallen for your darling niece. I'm guessing that she is too beautiful for her own good. It seems that even your innocent Edward has taken a liking to her."

"No he hasn't. Stop lying to me." I said to her, laughing weakly at her attempt to anger me..

"I never said that I didn't have proof, my darling." Jane whispered. "I have seen him kissing he with much more passion than I would have imagined. You can ask him yourself."

She looked into my eyes, and pulled put a disc. She handed it to me, smiling. "After you see this you might reconsidered Aro's invitation for you to join the Volturi."

And with that, she glanced at me, whispered something to her brother and then sped away into the darkness.

I put the disc into the DVD player, turned on the tv and hit play, wondering what they could have seen of my Edward.
