Right now I'm inside my limo riding "Home" with an aching body and a Red who Is not going to stop talking anytime soon.
"So I'm pretty sure that Sir James was going to send out some of his guards to go and see if you were OK-"
"Red? You know that I respect you alot and stuff but I really don't need this RIGHT now, Maybe later but please can you be quite?" I asked politely and without waiting for an answer I put up the shield so that I could not hear him.
With that I turned back to the scene through my the car window. It was raining and we were driving on a road that went through the forest. It was beautiful. The dark green trees stood together, with the grey sky creeping behind. Birds flying free off into the distance. Thick rain drops rolled down the car as I tried to trace them with my finger. It was as if the weather agreed with my gloomy mood.
Turning away from the hypnotic view I reached out to grab a drink from the mini fridge. Popping it open, I pushed all thoughts of my mum and dad and gulped down the coke. I know that usually it would be beer or something but seeing as I'm only 15 and that I have never even thought about drinking alcohol, I use my trusty coke instead.
Yes I'm weird but at least I'm calm and relaxed... Don't judge!
I switched the shield of to find Red still rambling on and on but this time apologizing. Un-frickin-believable.
"I'm extremely sorry Miss Rivers I did not know i was blabbering about your family business but please don't fire me I have worked for your family for 20 years!" His voice sounded panicked and i immediately felt guilty.
"Red?", "Please Miss-", "Redick!"
Silence....
"OK listen," I began. "It's OK I won't fire you, And I'm sorry for telling you to shut up, I'm sorry that I am being a bitch right now and I am also so very sorry for just pouring my feelings out to your right now but how long till we are home?" My voice becoming sweeter at the end.
"Nearly there miss," replied my now happy driver.
With that I turned away from Red, once again bringing up the shield barrier and ruffled through my duffel bag wondering who the heck forgot to put my I-pod in here!? They know i can't live with out technology, kinda... well music and my supa mobile that is the only of it's kind because my dearest uncle had made it especially for me!
Aha, There it is, in a the deep dark corner of the duffel lies my purple headphones with a purple I-Pod. I actually have three headphones with three I-Pods because sometimes the can never match so its very frustrating if you now what I mean. Sliding it on, Rolling In The Deep By Adelle came on.
