"Seriously, Brendon! Her?!" Ryan exclaimed as I slowly made my way towards the living room. It was a 10:45 am. I typically wake up at that time anyway.

"Whoa. It is too early for this." I said, running my hand through my hair. I waddled towards the kitchen and poured myself a mug of coffee. I walked back into the living room and sat in the recliner.

"Yeah. 10:45 is early." Ryan rolled his eyes and stood to his feet. "I need to run to my house real quick. Do you, Brendon, need anything?" He asked, pulling his keys out of his pocket and flipping them around in his hand.

"Not that I know of. I'm sure we'll stop at Wal-Mart or something to get snacks." He nodded. Brendon was still in his pajamas and he had slight bedhead. Ryan was wearing a purple v-neck tee-shirt under a leather jacket and jeans with black converse.

"Sounds good. I'll be back." He nodded, not looking my even looking my way as he walked out of the house.

"Where's Jon and Spencer?"

"Downstairs... Asleep..." Brendon looked over at me with a smirk on his face.

"Did he really just complain that I just woke up while two of his best friends are still sleeping?" I shook my head and stood up. "That's bull shit." I looked at Brendon as I walked down the hall, towards "my" room.

I stripped out of my pjs and got dressed in a red and white stripped sweater, tank top, and a pair of jeans. We may live in Las Vegas, but damn! It's cold in the mornings. Even in mid to late spring. It'll be cold.

I walked into my bathroom and did my hair and makeup. Which consisted of a pony tail and washing my face. I'm not one to do a bizarre thing for my face or hair. I did, however, teach Brendon how to do eyeliner. It looked like shit at first, but, he eventually mastered it and made it look a million times better. One night, back in 2004, we actually did each other's make up. It was a fun night. I made him look girly and he made me look like an emo/punk rocker.

"Hey, can you drive me to my apartment? I need to pack and get a few things." I asked, walking out of the room and towards the living room.

"Yeah. I can do that." Brendon nodded, walking passed me, going into his room to get dressed himself.

I walked out of the house and onto the front stoop. I pulled out a pack of cigarettes and my lighter from my pocket. I pulled on cigarette out of the pack and lit it, bringing it up to my mouth. I took a long drag. I always need one in the morning. I don't typically smoke right after I wake up. But, it's been a few days since I actually smoked. I know Brendon doesn't approve or like it. It's my life. So what. So what. I'll do what I please...

"That's disgusting." Brendon said behind me. I turned and looked up at him, taking the cigarette out of my mouth and holding it in front of me.

"Can we stop at a gas station? I need another pack." I asked, taking a huff.

"Yeah. As long as you don't smoke on the bus." Brendon replied, pulling the door closed and stepping off the stoop. "You ready?"

"Yep." I stood up. Brendon lead me to the garage in the backyard. He unlocked the doors and then pulled them open. A dust cover was covering a car. I have a feeling it's gonna be a really expensive car.

"We got our first check. Everyone bought iPods or some shit. Not me. I got this. She's my baby." Brendon smiled, pulling the dust cover. A blood red Mustang was sitting there. Sun light was pooling into the small space, hitting the car.

"Oh my god." I smiled, looking at the car. "How much was this?" I asked, dropping my cigarette and rubbing my foot on it to put it out.

"Really expensive." Brendon chuckled, running his hand over the hood over the car.
