The woman standing in front of him was beautiful. She had shiny blond hair that was done into a French plait along her delicate looking head. Her tan coloured face was kind and all of her features were perfectly shaped. Her lips were red and full and her eyes were a seaweed green. She wore the regular black jumpsuit with silver piping, but on her back she had the symbol from the front of her door stitched into it. She smiled at James and said,
"You've done well already James, as I knew you would. Many people don't even find the correct training room first time like you did. I'm very impressed."
"Thank you Shadow Wind. You already know my name so I imagine you know how I got here as well. You're my trainer, right?" James asked.
"Yep! I'm really excited. Apparently you've got a power like nobody has ever seen. What I'd like you to do first is to tell me how you found out about you're power. Don't leave out any details, no matter how small. Please come and sit down." She led him to a metal chair and sat him down. As he told her the story, he looked around the room where his trainer worked. It was very similar to his dormitory but without the bed and a bit bigger. He finished the story and Shadow Wind seemed to contemplate what he had just told her before speaking,
"I see. I believe that your ability, James, manifests itself in pure, unbridled energy. You can release enough energy to rip apart a body, or just enough to keep someone staying in one place. Right!" she said, jumping up and clapping her hands together, "What I want you to do first is to try and focus your energy." Whilst she had been talking a punching bag had descended from the ceiling, hanging in front of the two of them, "I want you to try and do something to the punching bag. Don't try and blow it to pieces and exhaust yourself, just push it back or get it to move."
"Ok," James said shakily, getting up from the chair and tanning about 5 feet away from the punching bag in front of him. He put his hands out in front of him and tried to replicate the feelings he had felt when his power had released itself. He thought of the anger he had felt towards the science teacher and the banshee and he tried to feel that anger rushing through his hands into the punching bag in front of him. He grimaced and closed his eyes as his hands began to heat up and then suddenly the punching bag and the wall behind it exploded into smithereens. He looked up at Shadow Wind who was looking dazed, with pieces of cement in her hair and slivers of punching bag clung to her clothes. She lowly turned her head and looked at James,
"We might need to work on that," she mumbled. She then promptly fell to the floor and passed out.
