The ground has thorns planted on it
I step on them with all my grace
Where did my heart go?
Why had my heart stopped?
There's a light at the end of the pathway
Oh how I want to taste it
One step forward, another more
The thorns don't sting anymore
Two steps forward, another more
I want it more than anything in the world
I am enticed by your beauty
Such catastrophe did it cause me
Hold your hand out, come and reach me
Save me from this world, I am all alone
Where did my senses go?
I am now numb and dumb
Can't you see? I will do anything
Just hold your hand out, I'll undoubtedly take it
The light is vanishing, no please come back!
I need you to live, to survive
I'm almost there, one more step
Embrace me into safety, save me from this misery
Take me; I give my all to you
Wait, what are you doing? Please stop!
All of a sudden, all at once, my blood has escaped from me
I am now a memory lost into oblivion
Rejected by a man whom I'd gladly call my lover
His heart was set on the eyes that could barely see
What to do, where to go?
Another road of thorns has shown
And then I see you at the end again
And so with grace, I take a step
