Dont Fall for Me My Fake Lover by Avaritico

FIFTEEN - I had my suspect as Enrique

It has been two weeks before Enrique revealed himself to my mother and then disappears without a trace. He has not contacted me ever since then.

What’s with him anyway? I hate the way he treats me. He teases me by somehow revealing little of himself and then returns back to hiding. After the party, after I learn that he told my mother he’s my boyfriend, I somehow got excited. But my excitement has been for nothing, since he vanished without a trace.

I act like crazy for two weeks, checking my phone immediately when I hear it rings. I even stay for almost all the time in the internet checking if he has sent me messages.

I write my diary before I usually go to sleep but now I feel like writing again. For the last two weeks, every entry talks about Enrique and how he vanishes. It also contains how he got me excited and disappointed as well. My diary is the only outlet I have for Enrique related things since Diana and Donatello have no idea about my secret. After writing today’s entry, I put my diary near on my bed together with my stylish pen that has pink feathers on it.

I then open my laptop and check Enrique’s Silver thread wall. I still hope for some reply but his activity in this account is still zero. I repost the messages that I have already told him like thanking him for the Halloween – of course only he can see it. But much to my disappointment, not even a single word comes from him. I lie on my bed beside my laptop. I put my hand to cover my eyes and I somehow fall asleep disappointed.

Tickle, tickle… It makes me tickly. Somehow I feel like sneezing. My nose is itching. I can’t help it anymore, I have got to sneeze.

“Hachuuuuu!” I sneeze and wake.

The time I open my still resisting eyes, Diana’s face only inches from mine startles me.

“Finally, it took me so long to wake you up.” She plays with my pen and then rubs the feather part to her face. “This pen is really useful, it can do more than just write.” I know what she meant; the pen can also be used to wake me.

“What are you doing here?” I sit and she lies down to my bed by falling, sending a slight wave of movement on the bed. “Don’t you know that we have exams…?” I do not finish talking since I can see that Dee is oblivious to what I have been saving. I see her change position from lying to sitting but still playing with my pen.

“Dee!” I chide.

She looks at me and I gave her a questioning look. Then I open my mouth to speak but she stops me.

“Don’t even think about speaking for another thirty seconds.” That sentence catches me off guard. I open my mouth to argue but she does not give me a chance since she started talking.

“So tell me, what have you been hiding all these time?” She asks and continues without waiting for answer. “Friends do not keep secrets from each other Cassie, and you’ve been violating that rule of friendship.” She picks up my diary and hands it to me. “So you’ve been lying to us about your boyfriend, or is he really?”

I look at the diary. I know she had already read it when I was asleep. And I know that she has also read my personal messages to Enrique through my laptop.

I do not know what to say to her. I do not know how to comfort her. I know she feels betrayed and I did betray her. I have never prepared for this kind of situation and now I feel so awful.
