"Alright! Let's head out!" I said, getting on my motorcycle, but Saitama and Genos looked at me confused. "What're you dumbasses doing? Get in your cars or whatever you have..." I said, sitting up on my motorcycle. "We don't need cars." Saitama said, and I stared at them for a moment. "...Eh?" Genos stepped up.
"What we're trying to say is; we don't need cars because we can just run there because we're faster." Genos said, and my mouth dropped. "You kidding!? Fuck me! If that's the case, what am I supposed to do!? If you're faster, how am I gonna get there if I'm going to get there later!? I have a job as a Sidekick, you know!!" I yelled, getting off my motorcycle. "Don't you have a swiftness power? You can just use that." Genos said, and I thought about it. "...I could try." I said then my whole body was covered in a blue light. "Haaaaaaaahh!" I yelled as I gathered more power, the blue light is blazing.
"Let's go!" I shout, then run off, with Saitama and Genos catching up to me quickly and ahead. Damn... I can barely keep up with them! After a while, I get tired, but I'm nearly there. And what, it's been like 12 minutes since we left? Either way, I was getting tired, and fast. "Oi, you okay?" Genos asked me, and I glared at him. "Since... when... were... you... concerned!?" I said, panting in between each breath.
"Because we're going to leave you behind if you keep running at that pace." Genos said and I glared at him. "Why... don't... you... just... fuck... off!" I said, speeding up a little, adding more speed power. Genos shrugged. "Suit yourself." Genos said, then running off in a blink of an eye with Saitama. I grit my teeth, then gathered more power. "Dammit!" I yelled, then adding so much power, I think people can see the glow of my light for miles.
It started to rain, slowly drenching my body. I shiver from when the cold water hits my bare arms. All of a sudden, words pop up into my mind as I continued to wish to go faster. "Swiftness that puts God of Speed, Mercury, to shame. Velocity Acceleration!" I yelled, but whatever it did, it didn't really do anything. I scoffed, shaking my head.
"So much for an attac-" I freeze up, stopping in my tracks. "What the hell?" The rain... it stopped. But not really... all the raindrops... are just floating mid air. I rubbed my eyes, then checked my surroundings again. Still, the raindrops are just... there. Not moving, nothing was moving. Like I just froze time. I squint closer at the raindrop... it was moving verrrrrry sloooowly. I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't got a close up. Is this what this attack does? Make me so fast that everything isn't moving at all? Awesome!
I look over the bridge, down at the sea. I wonder... I jumped down from the bridge, and onto the sea. It wasn't too far down, so I didn't have to worry about breaking my legs or something... if I can. I land on the water... and I didn't sink or anything. It was just like solid ground. "AHAHAHA! YES!" I yelled, then ran onto the sea, to the city. Consider it a shortcut. I made it to the beach, when I felt the rain started the fall again. Well shit, I guess this spell thing lasts only about.... 5 6 minutes. I clicked my tongue as I wiped the rain out of my eyes, since in that six minutes of time stopping made me forget that the rain was there, and how it gets in your eyes.
The Seafolk should be here somewhere.... Sure enough, I found bodies everywhere on the beach. They all seemed to represent as a glorified version of regular sea creatures. Like crabs, fish, sharks, those stuff. Though, I wouldn't say glorified, since they aren't all that glory and instead gross and hideous. "Tch, that thing is ugly as hell." I commented out loud. I noticed how the bodies were in pretty much lined up in a trail of grotesque limbs and corpses. I follow the trail, and up ahead, was a body not of a Seafolk, but of a human. A rather huge human, that I almost mistaken it as a Seafolk because of how big he was.
I walked closer, and I winced at how gross and creepy he looks. Why the hell is he naked in the first place!? And those muscles... what the hell is up with those muscles!? He could make a whole another person with that muscle!! And what is that Afro haircut thing!? What the hell is up with those eyelashes!? And that chin!? I blushed as I glanced away, embarrassed when I looked down near his pelvis. How fucking disgusting!! But, he's severely hurt... I can't just leave him like this.
"Uggggghhhh.... let's just get this over with." I said, wincing as I hovered my hand over his body, glowing a warm green color. After a few minutes of healing and tried to avoid my eyes from his... *ahem*, he was fully healed to my relief. "Okay... I'm just gonna... leave." I said, traumatized as I backed away. I would get him out of the rain if I could, but to be honest probably all the shops or buildings in this area is all locked up. He's just asleep anyway, it's not like he's going to go anywhere. I would say he would wake up in a few hours. I can't move him if I tried anyway.
I left, following more of Seafolk bodies. I found them. I found heroes. One was that Stingray guy that was seen fighting on TV and the only one fighting. Then the other guy was was a blond, with lightning bolts all over his body. Two A-Class, I assume. I looked around, my bangs dripping with water. It gone to shit here, alright. I sighed irritably, rubbing my hands together. "Okay..." I said, sighing again. I started with Singray, healing him. He had so many bad injuries, but I got one question. Where are the rest of the Seafolk? I shook my head. I'll worry about that later.... There are injured heroes here and I want to help them.
I finished up healing Stingray, and I grunted as I moved. I felt something leaking down my nose, when I realized I was bleeding. I keep forgetting that every time I use my power there is internal damage. I moved onto Lightning guy. He had bad injuries, there were glass in his body too. I pulled the glass shards out of his body, and tossed them away. "Alright... Lucky you guys, that I have a 'kind' heart." I said, then healing him up.
I felt my power slowly draining, and the green light is faltering every now and then. I wipe sweat off my forehead, and continued healing the guy. "Alright." I said, finished with his injuries. The guys I healed up are all fine, so I dragged them into some shelter as there was store canopy nearby. After I dragged them under, I started to run once more.
Despite being a city, it was quiet. It seems that everyone abandoned this city immediately once they heard about the invasion. I was running down blindly now, since it looks like the Seafolk was all wiped out by the A-Class heroes. But it doesn't explain why they were so beaten. I really have a bad feeling about this.
I grunted as I felt a sharp pain in my side. I experienced this before, when I used my powers. If I don't use too much of it but still enough, I still get pain. But it's chronic, so the pain comes in intervals. What a bitch. Just then, when I went around the block, I noticed something should not be there, in the middle of the street.
It walked, but most disturbing thing was that the monster was heading right for the evacuation center in the city.
