I could do a piece of work in the middle of town,
And various scenarios occur.
Most of these revolve around an object.
A thing.
An it.
Where people are astonished, in awe, curious, appalled.
Never mind if it is 2 dimensional, 3 dimensional, still or moving.
The many attractions is toward a do-hickey.
These situations are not the same for Artists.
Of course, some may recognize that the Artist is the object's inner being,
But most audiences will just stare at the creator with blank faces,
With stereotypes which can drive any good person mad.
Do not separate the two
The artist and their work is one person.
Don't be ashamed of it.
