They told Jamie he was thinking too fast,
And his mouth was to slow.
They told him he was stupid for his jabber,
But stupider for his jibber.
Jamie may not have the mouth to talk,
But he did have talented hands.
He wrote like a narrator,
He drew like a professional forensic artist,
And played music, oh what symphonies!
Such talent that made his parents proud.
Yes, he may speak less in consequence,
But now he can communicate with perfect articulation that even a foreigner can understand.
