Glad to hear, now, what's it like being in the Marvel universe?
It's very surreal, seeing my uncle Robert in these films and growing up into an adult whilst watching these films made me realise that I want to do the same thing in life and after slowly making my way to better and bigger things and to end up working beside him is an honour and so much fun.
We heard you couldn't tell him you had joined in with Civil War until Marvel made the official announcement, what was that like?
I didn't even know I had the part until about 2 weeks beforehand so it wasn't long until they had announced it but i didn't even know the part I had tried for was Captain Marvel. I go into this building for a audition and they're like 'here's a script and we'll give you a few minutes to go over it before we'll start." So I'm going through this script and it's for a situation in the zombie apocalypse and once that's over with I get the usual "we'll call you either way, see you soon." And then I get the call saying what the actual role is and that I have it but not to tell anyone and that I'm needed to sign an NDA, which is still in power so I can't tell you anything about Civil War, but then two weeks later it gets announced and then I get a phone call from Robert and he's like "how could you keep this from me?! Me?!"
He sounds hilarious, how exactly is he related to you?
He is my fathers brother. Therefore my uncle.
Have you had any scenes for Civil War with your uncle yet?
Uh, I'm not sure I can confirm or deny that, but I can say that that would be awesome if we do have scenes together.
Right, right. Now tell me, you and Chris Evans... Anything going on?
Haha, we're friends, we're just having fun when we're working together and when we're not working. He's a cool guy.
Alright alright, I'll just have to ask Chris when he comes in sometime.
