He's the best, you'd think when you have kids that you're going to be the one doing everything; the feeds, diaper changes, but he's very, uh, hands on I guess you could say.
It's also great that your cousins are close in age too.
Yeah, Indio is a few years younger than me but Exton and Avri are closer to my girls' age and I know they're going to end up close.
Is Robert doting to her too?
Are you kidding me? He's the best uncle to her, he treats her like his own and I know I wouldn't be where I am for him and I'm thankful for him being in my life. He's a second father to me and I'm sure he'd be the same to her too. My last name my be Jones but I'm a Downey too, and her last name my be Evans but she's still a Downey.
How come your last name is Jones anyway? Shouldn't it be Downey, it being your fathers last name?
I took my mothers last name, not because I didn't want to be a Downey, but being an actress I didn't want to get things handed down to me because I'm a Downey, I wanted to work from the bottom up and I did, and that made what I do so much better. I'm still a Downey, but I go by Jones.
Why not hyphen it? Like Jones-Downey or Downey-Jones?
Neither of them sound particularly good do they?
I'm guessing you've met Chris' family?
Yeah! They're great, I love them and when they first saw her [her daughter] they fell in love. His parents are super supportive and his siblings are hilarious and great to get along with. I just hope they like me, haha.
Just before we let you go is there any chance of you telling us her name? The whole world is dying to know.
Oh I don't know, I mean...

Her name is Oakley Jace Evans and she's the love of my life.
How did you and Chris come up with that name?
We literally googled baby names and went through what sounded good and unique for us, we didn't just want to name her something like "Anna" or "Heather", and Jace just because it sounded cool, haha.
