SHADOWFUR'S P.O.V

We were dead. This guy was too big. Fear had totally consumed my mind, and I did not like it. The beast spoke. "These mountains have already been claimed. I do not wish to be aggressive but I will if I am forced. Please give up your position and make way so the mountains are cleared for The Guardian Wolves." He said. I couldn't do this. I didn't exactly trust my pack yet. I had to make a run for it. I didn't want to die. I didn't want the others to be killed, but I couldn't fight that thing. And the others couldn't either. So I started running. But then I heard a voice. It was Taoclan. "Shadowfur!" He yelled. "Where are you going?" I had nothing to lie with, so I told him the truth. "I'm running away!" I yelled back. "I don't want to die!" Then Starla spoke. "Don't you trust us?" She shouted. Then I heard the huge wolf speak. "Wait. Negative has been found. Incorrect location. Apologies to you wolves. I have made a mistake. Please continue on while I relocate. Thank you for your cooperation." He sounded almost like a robot. "Well that's over," said Slush. But I was still stressed and planning to escape. But then I saw Taoclan knock their Alpha to oblivion. Then he stopped me. "Shadowfur," he said. "We are your pack and we just won the fight. But even if we didn't, you can't just run off. As a pack, we have to trust each other." "Taoclan!" I yelled. "Behind you!" Their Alpha was still alive. He slammed Taoclan on the ground. He got up and said something I thought was totally crazy. "Get in front of the Alpha," he told me. "What?!" I replied shocked. "Are you crazy? Do you want me dead?" I said. "No" he said back. "Before he can even touch you, I'll strike him. But I need time to power up. You need to stall him or he'll kill me while I'm weak. I'm your Alpha. Please trust me." "Yes, sir." I responded. I was worried but when he asked me to trust him, I couldn't deny. Not again. So I did what I was told. I walked up to him. "Hey!" I shouted. "What are you still doing in our mountains?" I barked. "You're making a death wish kid! But whatever you want!" He yelled. He charged at me. But just when I thought I was dead, he dropped to the ground. Then I saw Taoclan behind him. "Thanks Shadowfur. I knew I could trust you." He said. I felt complete. I felt I finally had a place in the pack. I felt like I had just earned Taoclan's trust. It was the best feeling I had ever had. Not only that, but now we had the mountains all to ourselves. But our path wasn't perfect. I still haven't rested the case about those gurdian wolf guys. If that one was a beast, I could only imagine what the others would be like. But I don't have time to worry about that right now. I've got some mountains to explore.
