BRAVECLAW'S P.O.V

*1 YEAR AFTER BIRTH*

My name is Braveclaw. My father is Taoclan. My mother is Starla. My fallen great cousin's name is Faolan. But today my father told me something. Something I thought was bizarre, but it was so great, I convinced myself to believe it. When I woke up this morning, I heard my dad say, "Morning son. There's something very important I'd like to tell you. But we must be alone. Follow me." He said. So I followed him. And I recognized the way we were taking. We were going up the mountain where my father had taught me how to fight. I looked around and saw familiar things I had seen when I was younger. Before I knew it, we were at the top. He was facing the other side of me while standing towards the cliff of the mountain. "Son," he said in a serious voice. "You're getting to be an adult now. I am going to tell you about the legend of the spirit wolf. Long, long ago, there was a race of very special Dier wolves. These wolves were incredibly strong and they were deadly alone, but unstoppable when united. But their power could only be accessed if they unlocked it within themselves. This could be done by a near death experience, a loss of a close loved one, or an extremely strong grudge. When the power would be unlocked, the wolf would be a hero, with no turning back. But the race of wolves were wiped out by an enemy unknown. But one still remained. And that wolf was your ancient ancestor." He explained to me. "What?" I asked. "So would that mean..." "Yes," he responded. "I am a spirit wolf. And so are you. But you must unlock that power inside yourself." He told me. "But how?" I asked him. "I do not know. You must find that out yourself." He answered. I was amazed. "And also my son, each spirit wolf descendent is stronger than the next. And that means you will be stronger than me. And that Braveclaw, means any enemy that overpowers me, you must fight. You will soon be the hero of our pack. You must unlock your inner potential. Somehow, I know you will." He said to me in a hopeful voice. It was a lot of pressure,  but I knew I could handle it. One day I will be the heart of our pack. That was nice to know. I thought of that while we walked down the mountain. My dad and Starla walked away. And then Fireshard walked up to me and spoke. "So your crazy dad lied to you about that spirit wolf crap, huh?" He spat. "Shut up Fireshard. My father told me the truth." "Oh yea?" He barked. "If your a strong spirit wolf, then fight me right now, twerp!" "Okay," I replied. Honestly, kicking Fireshard's ass seemed like the right thing to do. I walked up to him. He charged at me, but he knocked himself back while trying to hurt me. He was even weaker than I thought. I striked him, and he fell to the ground bloody. Taclan ran up. "Braveclaw,  Fireshard! Stop that!" He exclaimed.  "We are a pack we don't fight! I learned that a while ago. Fireshard, you are on the edge of being kicked out of this pack. Starting all these fights is just wrong. In fact, in the knowledge that this might happen again, you are out of this pack. You are welcome to survive on the other side of the mountains, but stay away from us." "You will regret this Taoclan! I will have my revenge!" He shouted. I thought it was for best. This would mean I would take Fireshard's position. But I'm okay with being an Omega. After all, when I unlock my true power, I will be the Alpha. I know my father will trust me. I will make a great leader.
