CHAPTER 2: Not Alone

TAOCLAN'S P.O.V

I didn't know where I was going. But I didn't care. I just wanted to get away. I needed to find food, water, and some type of shelter. I looked for cave and luckily there was one. However, there was something inside. It almost looked like another wolf! I was thrilled. I thought that this wolf might be part of a pack, a pack that I could join. I walked closer and saw that I was right. It was a wolf! But she didn't seem to have a pack nearby. Then I realized something. She was a Lone Wolf. Just Like Me.

STARLA'S P.O.V

I had finally found somewhere to sleep. I had been out for weeks trying to get by. But I could only do so much. I was tired and hungry. I thought that this cave might have what I was looking for. I went closer and saw that it was very deep. I wanted to go in, but at the same time I didn't. But then I heard nearby steps. I looked behind me to see another wolf. He looked threatening at first, but then I looked in his eyes to see he was sad and wanted exaxtly what I want. To stay alive. "Hello," I said calmly. "Hello," he responded. "Might I ask your name?" He asked me. "I am Taoclan." "My name is Starla." I said. "Well Starla, I think we both want this cave, so we'll go together," He told me. So we went inside. It was cold with icicles hanging from the top. We went further. But suddenly, we heard noise. We stepped closer. We saw another wolf. But he didn't look friendly though. "Taoclan??!!!" He exclaimed. "Ugh, do you never die?!" he spat. "The council will kill me when they find out you're alive!" He sounded furious. I didn't know what was going on, but I really didn't want to. Maybe there's more to Taoclan than I thought...
