Just as everything was looking perfect just like it was taken right out of a dream, it took a turn for the worst. The night mares kept coming I started feeling stuck and suffocated. Friends and family fade into the darkness I was going back, back into the past when nothing was right. Serena was sitting down next to me on the street. “I’m hungry Rose.” “Me too.” “Why did mommy leave us?” “I don’t know... But I won’t keep sitting here waiting for her anymore it’s been 3 days! Come on.” “Where are we going? Let’s stay and wait for mommy!” “She isn’t coming back Serena can’t you see that?!” John shook me awake “Rose… what’s wrong why are you crying?” “I need to go don’t stop me … take care of Serena for me.” “Where are you going? Rose stop and talk to me!” it was too late I was already you the door I ran down the stairs I got on my bike and speed down the street with tears in my eyes and an ach in my heart. John, Ricky, Axel and Serena were pleading for me to stay to turn around yelling things I never heard. I never turned my head to see them fading away never seeing the tears falling from their eyes. John and Serena on the ground crying I just kept going. I ran and ran. How did they get so close to me? Why did they all cry and plead for me to stay? The day I ran was the day of my birth and on that day Akasha wept for a soul forever scared and forever on the run…
