chapter 9

first off id like to say sorry for the long wait ive lost the rough draft and then re-found it i work alot as well and dont have much time on my hands anymore but to those that have waited for me to continue writing thank you

Ch 9

After school I went by the pool just like I said I would. I took a seat on one of the benches and pulled out my book. About 20 minute’s later john walked up to me in his swim…thingy.      “Hey! You came!” “Uh-huh.” “Give me that book!” he then took MY book from me. “Dark fire? What’s it about?” “Vampires...can I have my book back now?”  “nope your going to watch what’s going on.” “Fine!” he smirked...oh how I hate yet love that smirk.

               “Now give me a hug rose.” “Why?” “That way the other guys don’t get any bright ideas.”  “But you’re all wet and um you’re not wearing anything…” “Yeah I am it’s called a Speedo.” “Yea I don’t look below the collar of a shirt...and I don’t look below the neck line any ways.” “Well you can you know...” “Ha-ha no way that would be bad.” “not if I want you to look it wouldn’t be… so I’m going to put this book in my locker you can have it back when we go home.” as he walked off I let out a small un heard whine, “but that’s my book…” I sat there staring at the wall wishing for my book to be back. I thought of sneaking into that locker room to get it. However I had no clue what locker was johns. Oh well it should be over soon...I hope.

“John you’re up for a dive!” “Coming coach.” I had then looked at where his voice was coming from and boy was that a mistake! I couldn’t take my eyes off of him! Wow he is mega hot …oooh and ripped to… I then began to daydream. Is john coming this way? I couldn’t tell I can’t take my eyes from his abs… I think he’s now saying something. What is he saying?          

“Rose! Are you even listening to me?” “Huh? Oh yea yea I’m listening…what did you say?” “I said your book is in my locker with my things…hey why is your face is all red?” “I… I… I’m fine.” “You finally looked at my body didn’t you?” “…no! …yes. Maybe!” “I knew it! So do you like how I look?” oh man what am I to say I don’t understand why he is so happy that I finally looked. “A 12 pack of abs?” “Yep and a nice chest or so I have been told.” “Yea but why did you dye your hair green?” “I felt like it but I’m going to be bleaching it blond tonight. Unless you like it green?” “No its ok I guess green is better than that awful color pink.” “Ha-ha yeah I was going to dye it pink but not tonight cause of home coming. When I do bleach it I want you to be the first to see it.” “Uhm... Ok?”

as john did his dive I was mesmerized by his rippling muscles and tanned skin, I didn’t even notice that Serena came in and was sitting beside me. “Rose, I made you the most beautiful dress for home coming. It’s a sparkling blue gown and I got you some shoes to match. Oh and Ricky is out of town still... Rose, are you listening to me?”I

was still in a daze when john came over to us smiling. “So rose what did you think?” “Wow! That was awesome!” he turned to Serena then and began talking to her “you must be Serena my name is john it’s nice to meet you rose talks about you all the time.” “Yes I am and it’s nice to meet you as well john.” “Rose if you come with me I’ll give you your book back.” “Finally, And yea ill go with you where are we going anyways?” we were already walking when he said that we were going into the boys locker-room I kept my eyes down and I ran right into a locker. Damn that hurts. That was when john had taken my hand and lead me to his locker “damn I think I gave myself a black eye from running into that thing.” “yeah I think you did to let me have a look., its just a red spot on your forehead. You will be fine.” “cool thanks… why is everyone staring at me?”. “No idea but here’s your book back, I’m going to get changed now.” “Thanks I’m going to go back to the pool and read while you get ready to head out.” I turned to leave and ran smack into some other guy.

“S.sorry I didn’t see you there.” “well watch where you’re going small fry!” shit I really don’t want to fight anyone. He’s twice my size and has an easy hundred pounds on me. “Hey! She said she was sorry and she is with me got that Joey?” the guy named Joey got some strange look in his eyes then turned to leave. Well that wasn’t weird at all.

I turned to hug john forgetting that he was still wet from swim. “Hey, john?” “Yes?” I forgot that your still wet from swim… and now I am too.” He laughed at me and turned digging something out of his locker. “Damn now I’m going to be freezing while I walk home.” “Not if you’re wearing dry clothes.”  “and just where will I be getting dry clothes?”  “ I do have a spare set of clothes you know.” “No I didn’t but ok. But where will I go to change? The girl locker-room is closed.” “ you can change in front of my locker I’ll hold my towel up so no one can see you.” I changed as fast as I could so that he could change. Once we both had changed we talked on our way out I said id see him tomorrow and I went on my own way home. Serena is going to flip when I tell her all of this… if I tell her any of it.
