Ch 5

Urg! What is that noise? I slowly woke up to the sound of my cell phone ringing. I answered it.

"hello?" "hi yes im looking for the wolf hunters, rose and Serena." it was a males voice. " well you have the right number. How may I help you? My name is rose." "yes I have just seen a large black wolf. With large golden eyes." "where have you seen this wolf sir?" "in a yard." "what's the address do you know?" "5214 wail drive." "sir may I ask your name?" "uh oh its bill." "well bill , that happens to be my house and my wolf if you happen to see a white wolf that would be my sisters. Thank you for your concern. Have a nice night."

I hung up right as Serena opened up my door. "Ricky's down stairs. Should I send him up?" I groaned and got out of bed to change my shirt. "uh yeah and bring the wolves in. I just got a call from some guy about them." "ok." she then turned and left. I heard her call down to Ricky. "Ricky you can come up now she is awake." but I paid no mind and went to change my shirt. " thanks Serena." " oh no prob." just as I pulled on my shirt Ricky walked in , and hugged me from behind. He whispered in my ear. "mm. I like this...how are you? How did you sleep?"

I giggled. Damn the giggling. "hey Ricky. Im fine and I slept so long I didn't even wake up till the sun went down." "that's good you needed the sleep.... Turn around and let me kiss you again." "ok." I turned around and he kissed me. It lasted a few mins before he broke the kiss. He then walked down stairs where Serena was feeding the wolves. I followed him. Serena turned to me with her all to knowing eyes and started to laugh. All I could say was. " shut up serene." then I got the call... I was needed for my other job. My secret job. I went into the other room to answer.

"hello." "death rider we have a job for you." " what is it?" "we need you to assassinate the president." "when? Where? What time? And how?" "tonight at the white house. Midnight dress as a geisha, make him think your from Japan. That you were sent here to make him happy and for an alliance in the up coming war. Do you understand?"

"yes I understand." " tell no one of this job. If caught act deaf and mute." "of course." as I hung up I walked back into the living room. There I told Ricky and Serena that I had to leave. " im sorry. But I have to go , I have a job to do. I need to leave now. Take care." I walked out to the back of the house to get my motorcycle then I was on my way. First stop I had to get a geisha costume. Then I had to go to my contact for my make up and wig. I got on my bike and drove off towards the white house. I stopped about a block away. Serena and I know many different languages. I how ever am most fluent in Japanese and English of course.

As I got into the carriage that waited I made sure everything was perfect. The smallest flaw can get me killed. The carriage stopped. I got out and made my way to the front door. "konnichi wa. Hello I am here to see presitent" the guard let me in. "ah. You must be the entertainment." "hai, yes." I then bowed waist deep. I then kept them entertained till midnight. As soon as midnight hit I pulled out my dagger and quickly slit his throat. No sound was made, then I got my things together and left.

At the front door the guard asked. " Is the president sleeping?" "hai, yes he sleep like rock." I then bowed waist deep then headed home. I pulled my bike into the back yard and went inside, there I found Ricky and Serena asleep on the sofa. I slowly went up stairs to my room and straight into the shower, I had to wash off the blood.. Once that was done I cleaned the tub with bleach and went to bed. Again I was out before I hit the pillow.

On the news the next morning it had a Japanese woman's description. I was off the hook...for now. I got up changed into a pair of jeans and an infected mushroom t shirt. Then I went to wake Serena and Ricky. I made pancakes for them, as they were eating I went to go wash my bike.

"why did rose leave so fast last night Serena?" " I don't know ..but I will find out." just as I got done washing the soap from my bike I saw Serena coming out the back door... she had my dagger in her hand. Oh boy im in trouble now. "rose why is there blood on your knife?" oh boy what do I say? Think. Think! Got it! "oh I ran into a wolf last night. How did you like the pancakes?" " they were great but.. How did you afford to make them from scratch?" few that was a close one. " I got some cash this morning from a job I did last night." "oh...cool. Would you like me to put your knife away in your room after I clean it?"

"please. Oh and Serena." "yeah?" "were going shopping later today." I covered my ears and waited for her screaming to stop. " yeah!! Were going shopping! Were going shopping!" Ricky came running out of the house after hearing Serena scream. "where is? it ill beat the shit out of it....wait why are you screaming?"

that's when Serena jumped on him still screaming. "Ricky were going shopping!!" Ricky looked at me, I of course had my ears plugged. I just shrugged and went back to cleaning the mud off the tiers of my bike. While Ricky tried to pry Serena off of him. As soon as Serena let go and ran inside Ricky noticed my bike. "wow! Rose is that your bike?" "yeah.. why?" "its so cool that's why!" "uh thanks." "no prob...but hey where are your parents anyway? They didn't come home last night. Or this morning." I winced that's still a fresh wound and a memory for me. Serena and I standing in the street our mother yelling at us....

"you two are no good to me! I never wanted children in the first place! Why don't you just go die out here on the streets like the rats you are!" "but mommy! Mommy!"

Ricky was talking to me.. I guess for a while now. " rose! are you even listening to me?... what's wrong?" "huh? Oh! No im fine... its just...we don't have parents our mother left us, and our father died. I raised Serena and myself. From the time when we were 5 years old." "oh...I didn't know. How do you make it then?" I shook my head to push the memories away. "I have a few jobs I do. I bought the house with the money our father left us. that's paid off." "oh cool." "yup." "well im going to make sure that Serena isn't messing up the place." he then walked away and I was left with my thoughts. I dried my bike and went up to my room and straight to bed.
