Ch 6

"Rose! Wake up! Rose! Its time for school." aww man just when I was starting to get some sleep. Serena has to go and say its time for school. "I'm up. I'm up!" "good cause Ricky just called." "And?" "he's in a fight with some kid." "What?!" I jumped out of bed and rushed to get dressed. Just as I got down to where Ricky was cops were everywhere....as for Ricky nowhere to be found.

Its now second period and Serena taps me on the shoulder. "Hey Rose look where getting a new student." "Yeah ha-ha look at how tall he is. Looks about 5'9 he's a lot taller than you Serena." "Can you scan his mind for me rose?" "Yeah sure...he likes bikes um. He knows martial arts. He's a bad boy but a kind heart. He likes animals and sports."

"Everyone this is Axel he has just moved from New Mexico. Axel why don't you go sit next to Rose and Serena." "girls raise your hands." As Serena and I raise our hands I also whisper. "Oh yeah he's protective to." Serena nods her head in understanding. "um? Which one of you is Rose and what one is Serena?" of course Serena jumps at the chance to introduce us. "I'm Serena. This is my sister Rose. I love your eyes. There green right?" "Yeah they are and thanks. Its nice to meet you both." Serena seems pleased that she had been polite. As for me... I don't like him... he's hiding something. I can feel it. He sits next to me. I cross my arms and state

"yeah whatever. Your 5'9 in height about 130 in weight and it looks like you know martial arts. I can tell by the way you hold yourself. Your naturally a red head. Am I right?" he turns to look at me. "um yeah you are...why is Serena laughing?" "Simple. Because I'm right about you." Serena glares at me for being "rude" however I was just stating facts. "I'm sorry about her. She's not nice." "yeah I can tell...I like your dress Serena." "Thanks! I got it on Sunday." Just as she had finished saying that the bell rang and class had been let out where Ricky was waiting at the door. How he gets there so fast I have no clue. I grab my things and walk to the door. " hey Ricky what's up?" "Nothing much... who is that talking to Serena?" " that would be Axel. And he likes Serena." "oh. Do you like him?" "eh I guess." I then turn to Serena to hurry her up "Serena get your but over here and bring axel with you!" "O.k... come on Axel."

She and Axel walked over to where we were standing. "hi Ricky!" Serena chirps while giving him a hug I stand back and watch what is about to unfold. "hey Serena. Who's your new friend?" Axel then stepped forward. "hey I'm Axel...and you are?" "Ricky. I'm a friend of Rose and Serena." "Funny it looks like you're a rich boy...now why would a rich boy want to be friends with girls that look like they don't have that much money?" "Hey!" Serena and I say at the same time. "you have no right to tell me who I can and cannot be friends with!" "Rose you have to make them stop." "o.k. o.k."

I went up to both Ricky and Axel knocking their heads together. "Ouch! What was that for Rose." Ricky had asked ...axel on the other hand was trying not to pass out. "Shut up the both of you." "o.k. Hun I won't hurt this pea brain.." "pea brain! Why I outa!" I then continued to smack there heads together once more but just a bit harder. "Knock it off I am not being paid to baby sit now am i?" they both shook their heads no. "Axel, Ricky likes me not Serena so stop." "oh." "yeah oh." I glared at Ricky for continuing. "Hey Serena do you have a boyfriend?" startled she takes a bit long to answer . "No.. why do you ask?" "Would you like to be my girl?" Serena turns to me to begin begging. "Oh! Rose can I can I please?! Please!" "....fine if it makes you stop screaming in my ear."

After school we were all at my house. Serena and Axel were sitting on the sofa while Ricky was raiding the fridge for some food. I felt my phone start to vibrate in my pocket.

"Hello?" "Death rider we have another job for you." I checked to see if anyone was listening "What is it?" "We need you to take out the queen of the Gobi desert." "When? Where? What time?" "the White house. Thursday, at midnight. Dress as a princess from Africa. Tell no one understand?" "yes as always."

"Rose? Can I talk to you...alone?" I turned to see Serena. "yeah sure Serena." Why did you have a kimono in your bathroom with blood on it?" " I told you I came across a wolf." " In a kimono?" "Yeah I was on a job." "What job?" " a job." "Tell me Rose! Are you in trouble? Tell me!" "Serena calm down, I'm not in trouble." "I don't want to lose you too!" "lose me? Why would you lose me? You know I can't die." By this time Serena was crying.

"Serena? Hun are you alright?" "I'm fine Axel..." "hey! Rose!" "Yeah?" "Some guy is at the door for you." "ill be right there Ricky." I walked out of the hall way to the front door. There was a large man with a goatee a bald head and a suit. "hello... Who are you and how did you get this address?" "Death rider." I turned my head to make sure no one was paying attention to this man or our conversation. "Yes?" "there has been a change in plains the queen wants to see the forest. You are to take her out there tomorrow understand?" "yes sir."

I closed the door only to find Axel standing behind me. "what was that about? Why did he call you Death rider and to take out the queen?" "that is none of your business." I turned to face the others "Serena get your boy out of here before I kick his ass." "o.k. Rose... Axel I'm cold." "I'm on to you Rose." Before he could turn around I hit him in the nose then kneed him in the nuts. I bent down to whisper in his ear. "if you tell anyone I will kill you... I don't care if you are Serena's boyfriend. do you understand me?" "yeah I do." I stood up to a very angry and shocked Serena.

"Rose! How could you? I love him!" "good for you. But I will kill him if he puts our survival at risk. Now I have to get ready for my job, so that I can make that precious money that you love so much." I then started walking up the stairs before I reached the top I turned around and added. " by the time my door opens back up... he had better not be here or there will be bloodshed."

Ricky had fallowed me up into my room. After he had come in I closed the door and pushed the button that rose up my bed revealing all my weapons. "wow! I was sitting on that the first time I came in here, wasn't I?" "yes and that's why I was angered." I turned to get my weapons ready for the job when I turned back around Ricky was looking at an old Japanese sword with writing along the blade the writing wrote "he who knows truth." I watched as he traced the words. "hey Rose? Can you teach me to use this sword?" " yeah I can. Why?" he turned to face me as he stated what came next. "So I can go with you."

I stood shocked and unable to speak for a few moments "you know?" he then shrugged "yeah I have known since the job with the president." my jaw hung open in complete shock. "why didn't you tell me?" "I figured you that if you trust me you would tell me when ready...and you just have by showing me your weapons." I had walked over to him to hug him. "thank you so much Ricky." he hugged me back. "no problem. what are friends for?" As he said that he pushed the button to re conceal my weapons I smiled. He picked me up and walked to the bed to lay me down and lay next to me. "I love it when you smile...I love to see you happy Rose I mean it I really do."

Just then Axel had burst into my room clearly out of his mind. "Rose you slut sleeping with the rich boy!" that clearly angered Ricky "get the fuck out Axel and don't you ever call Rose a slut again! you know nothing about her or Serena! " speaking of Serena she just ran into the room. "Axel why do you even care what my sister does with Ricky?" "I don't I just find her as a slut." I have had enough I turned to Ricky. "Ricky get up for a minute and push the button if you please?"

he smiled knowing what was to happen. "of course." he pushed the button and I grabbed my favorite sword and slashed into Axels shoulder. Serena became hysterical . "Axel! Rose!" I kept my calm and spoke clearly. "if you ever call me a slut again I will cut off your arm. Do you understand me?" Axel shook his head. "I cant understand that do you under stand me?" I had grabbed his arm and put pressure on it. "ah! Yes! Yes! I under stand you." "good now get the fuck out of my house.. And don't come back." I then went to sharpen my swords and daggers. "ah finally the last one, what time is it?...damn 3 am." I stood to stretch. "well its time for bed." I then took a fast shower got on some sweats and went to bed.
