"Fully undressed, no training wheels left for you

I'll pull them off for you"

The hospital looked quite normal, as normal as a hospital could look, in fact. The lobby was quiet as the clock on the wall chimed 4 AM, and the receptionist looked like she needed more coffee.

The waiting room, at first look, was empty and rather cheerful since an old movie played on the television set.

Except, if you looked in the corner, near the soda pop machine, you'd see a boy of sixteen wrapped up in his thin coat, crying softly to himself as he wondered if his friend would be okay.

Well, the two of them, the boy and his friend, weren't exactly friends, since "the friend" made every notion not to get close to him due to an event in the past, and the boy was rather a fuck boy.

He acted cocky to make himself feel big, but in it all, he was a virgin who'd never fucked any of the people he'd said he did, let alone anyone really.

He just wanted to sound tough and be tough and forget everything because he loved-

"Phillip Lester?" A nurse asked, emerging from a doorway.

The boy shot up, abandoning his tears as he stood up.

"Yes? That's me. Is he okay?"

The nurse smiled. "Yes he's doing well. I've been told by the doctors that you have five minutes with him until you'll have to come back tomorrow between 10 am and 4 pm, our regulated visiting hours."

Phil wanted to protest. Five minutes wouldn't be enough, but the small sane part of him reminded him that he could see him tomorrow.

He followed the nurse, who was brunette and had a name tag with 'Cat' printed on it. She was very pretty, but Phil was very gay, so he looked around the dimly lit halls.

The duo passed another desk sort of area, with about five nurses, three using the computers for Facebook and the other two for virtual poker.

"He's in here. I'll come get you when it's time." Cat gestured to a open door, curtains blocking the main room. Phil thanked her, and passed a small room before leading into the actual hospital room, with a mini fridge and sink.

The actual room looked quite nice, with a window seat, arm chair, small TV, a bed and a bathroom to the side.

Phil's eyes gazed to the frail body lying in the hospital bed. Phil felt as if he'd cry.

"Adrian?" Dan said in a weak voice.

"Phil." Phil corrected. Dan sat up.

"Phil? What're you doing here?"

"We only have four minutes left tonight, Dan, so I suggest we make it count. I'll be back tomorrow."

"Why are you here?" Dan questioned again. Phil tried not to look too hurt.

"Jesus christ Dan, you had a panic attack in my car and I had to call 999 I saved your life! And I'm here cause were friends-"

"Phil we aren't friends-"

"Why not? Why can't we be friends?"

Dan sighed heavily. "Because I don't have any friends. Because everyone either leaves or hurts me or both."

Phil didn't reply for a minute. He leaned down and took Dan's hand in his, just like in the ambulance. Surprisingly, Dan didn't pull back.

"I'm your friend Dan."
