Amber P.O.V.

Everyone whom had come began filing into the lodge. Snow began to fall outside while people took seats by the tables granted to us.

A booming voice was heard loudly around the vast area, "I'm sorry folks, but we'ya have a, er, problerm." A beep was heard, signaling the man speaking had paused the announcement.

A new voice began, similar to the previous, southern voice. "People are not permitted to leave the lodge until the snow is blocked out of the road. Rooms will be provided to those stranded."

Aliah gasped in "shock", while Aidan got up to figure out our rooming situation. Luckily, since it was later than people usually came here, there wasn't a humongous crowd looking for rooms.

I began strolling towards the help center, where Aidan was. "I'm afraid sir, that you and your friends will have to bunk in a large room together, we don't have enough rooms to go around for everyone."

Aidan huffed out in annoyance before turning to me. He held a surprised look before calming down. "I call the bed," he exclaimed with a tired grin.

I rolled my eyes in mock anger, "but I wanted the bed!"

"Amber, there are more beds, I'd be disappointed if a Large room only had one bed." Aidan said this while smiling at me, I couldn't help but smile back. Maybe I could give Aidan another shot?

"Guys, guys!" Joanna yelled over to us, "Do you have the keys or not?"

I rolled my eyes before waltzing over to her and grabbing her arms. "Yes, we have the keys!" I shook her body as she laughed, just like when we were kids.

She took my shoulders now, and led me up to the elevator. I absolutely love elevators, sure, call me a kid, but I liked being the first person to press the button!

I raced Jo to the mechanism, a smile drawn on my lips as she edged ahead of me. I giggled as she beat me to the up and down buttons, pressing the up arrow.

"You got me..." I said breathless, we may have not ran far, but I'm not fit, as I've mentioned many times.

"You guys are so childish," Aidan exclaimed as he met us by the metal doors.

Jake and Aliah strolled over hand in hand, of course.

"Nice room."

"I guess," I replied.

Aidan stared at me in mock surprise, "you guess? This room sucks!"

I chuckled while shaking my head, over reacting much?

"I call this bed!" Joanna squealed as she sprinted into the bed nearest to the door.

The room consisted of 2 queen sized beds, the ceiling lights were dim, adding onto what the hotel managers call the "Royal" factor. Cheesy golden pillows lines the bed frames, and a decorated blue sofa sat opposed to the door.

"Yeah, I guess this is okay," I sighed. It was nice, atleast it didn't smell like old milk...

I noticed the suddenly awkward atmosphere. Joshua was eyeing Jake and Aliah precariously, causing Jake to shift his standing position in a nervous nature.
