I stood there astonished at what was playing out in front of me.
Amber was making out with someone. Not just anyone, but Joshua.
What the hell was she doing? She has to be drunk, or high, or something!
At that point I was shaking. I wanted to look away, I needed to look away. I don't know why I was so angry, but I was.
I was about to walk away when I noticed Amber's arm push him away. Maybe it was just my stupid, jealous mind.
But wait... She did it again. That has to mean she doesn't like it, right? I mean, I don't care, pshhhh.
I saw her get up and stumble over to a tree, she was crying. He kept trying to get on her again, but that wasn't going to happen.
"Douche-bag! Hey!" I shouted towards Joshua. "What do you think your doing?"
He faced me and smirked, "What does it look like?" He threw his hands up in the air as if referring to me as dumb.
I was trying to contain my frustration as I continued, "She doesn't like it, man. You might as well go find some whore the grind on instead of Amber."
He was getting mad now, I could tell from the fact that his boozy smile was now turned into a frown. He came at me and stood right infront of me. He was looking straight into my eyes, it felt like a century.
His icy blue eyes were cutting into my soul when he shook his head.
"I really don't want to do this right now." I chuckled, "especially with your disability..."
He was furious, his fists were balled up and his legs were shaking. Meanwhile Amber was trying to contain her sobs as she watched what was unfolding right infront of me.
Joshua kicked the ground and turned around.
Back to Amber.
"Hey, dude did yo-" I began.
He suddenly turned around and came at me. Not like before where we had our intense stare off. Now he was like a raging bull, ready to beat the living hell out of anyone who got in his way.
I was ready, he could do whatever he wanted to me. All I cared about at the moment was keeping his hands off of Amber.
Amber P.O.V.
I sat there hunched up in a ball. I had never really been one for fights.
They were swinging their fists and tackling each other. I couldn't tell who was who and where anything was. I began to get dizzy and suddenly the flashbacks started coming in.
"Shut up!" He shouted at us.
We were quiet. To scared to even move.
He moved over to my mother and looked her straight in the eyes. He raised his fists to her and began beating her. I was afraid, not because I thought he would finish her.
But because I knew I was next.
He never raised his fist to Hazel. Hazel was perfect to him, beautiful, ambitious, and smart.
I was just there, just there to put his anger into.
Often times he would use a belt on me, he would lose control and say horrible things to me.
Suddenly he turned to me and looked me straight in the eyes, my time had come.
He grabbed the belt and began whipping me. I sobbed quietly to myself as he shouted, "You dumb stupid child, can't you do anything right? You're fat and ugly and stupid."
