oh and like let us imagine that you are great at football, and if you are that is fantastic wohoo. this has actually happened to me before, but not included the fact that chandler was there ofc

chandler sits down on the bench to look at his classmates playing football, feeling a little sad as he can't join. he hurt his foot during pe last week when they had the cooper test, and it is still hurting like crazy. he really wants to join as his crush is playing, or what he should know her as, his best friend.

he watches her tackle one of the other players, seeing her apologizing like crazy for making him fall into the grass. they are luckily outside, if they played inside he would of have gotten a concussion. y/n is known for being good at football, and also pretty rough when they are playing on the grass.

chandler studies her as she runs past different players from the other team, and is now on her way towards the goal to hopefully score. he smiles as he sees how concentrated she is, but his expression changes fast as he sees her body get thrown into the ground by one of the players on the other team. she lets out a small shriek as her arm ends up in a hurtful position, and the teacher runs over to her with a worried look.

she has never gotten hurt during pe before, and her body literally flew through the air before it hit the ground. chandler limps over to her slowly, seeing the teacher helping her out with her arm. as chandler reaches them y/n sits up carefully, drying away the small tears that have fallen onto her cheek. the guy that ran her down is apologizing like crazy, feeling extremely bad.

"hey, don't apologize dude! you were just playing the game, it was my fault that i landed on my arm!" the guy keeps apologizing to make sure how bad he feels, but y/n assures him that it's all good. she has a small talk to the teacher about that she should go to the nurse to check up her arm, but she refuses. "please, i can play!"

"you can not play, y/n. since this is the last class and you refuse to go to the nurse, you should grab your stuff with chandler and go home. you both get my permission to go early."

y/n sighs and nods slightly, looking over at chandler with a weak smile. she grabs her bag and decides to change at home, then motions chandler to come with her. he does so and they start walking out of the school, and towards y/n's house. she starts talking about the game, and how it would of have been better if he was in it.

"you are usually there to back me up, but you weren't so i got hurt. it's so sad that your foot is hurting, i needed you in the game!" he chuckles and looks over at her, his gaze locking with hers. they are walking slowly because of his foot, this making it easier for her to study him slightly. "you aren't heavy, i could just carry you?"

"yea, what about no? your arm is not looking good, you know? you need to stop being so stubborn and let people help you, you can't do everything yourself." y/n is caught off-guard and gasps, never has she heard chandler being so serious with her. "i-i-you know what i mean, just let people help you."

she chuckles and rolls her eyes as they walk up her driveway, letting chandler open the door as she can't. they both get inside and let go of their stuff, and the first thing chandler does is to check on her arm. she rolls her eyes at him but lets him do it, remembering what he said earlier. he sees it being a little blue, looking up at her worriedly.

"are you sure it's okay?" she nods with a smile, looking at him as he's still inspecting her arm. she loves how close they are, both as friends and physically. if he lean just a couple inches forwards their lips will meet, and she would love that to happen. "i think we should put some ice on it, it looks pretty b-"

"it's okay, i promise." he looks up at her with a sigh and is about to say something, but stops as he notices how close they are. y/n doesn't let her eyes off him, she is shameless when it comes to situations like this. she smiles weakly and leans a little forwards, looking down at his lips. "can i kiss you?"

"w-w-yea, y-you can." y/n grins and looks up at his eyes before doing so, studying his eyes before diving in for the kiss. she cups half of his face since she can't use her other hand, and she can feel him smile into the kiss as she does too. she is the person who is indeed brave, and isn't scared for rejection nor fracturing her arm. she is just brave, and chandler likes that about her a lot. "wow."

"wow? you're so cheesy, riggs." he chuckles as he runs his hand through her hair, still not understanding where the kiss came from. he has never met such a dominant and strong woman before he met her, but he knows that the strongest is mostly the ones who has gone through a lot. of course there are people that is brave but haven't gone through a lot, but he knows a lot about her past. "so, tell me, are we so close that i could ask you to be my boyfriend?"

"of course, y/n."

"then, will you be my boyfriend?" he nods with a smile, kissing her once again. it doesn't always has to be the boy asking the girl out, or the boy kissing the girl for the first time. everyone should know that, and that y/n was the one asking him is a huge part of their relationship. "as a reward i'll let you get that ice, it is actually hurting a little."

"i told you we should of have gone to the nurse!"

"i don't need a nurse, i need ice!"

chandler chuckles, finding it adorable how she always has to stand out as brave.

this is a kind of a fluffy and short one for y'all, hope you liked it??
