Serena's P.O.V.
I was walking through the forest again but this time it seemed different. I could see other kids around me running throughout the woods playing. One looked exactly like Aurora but it didn't register in my mind. Next thing I knew I had a little boy standing in front of me. "Un giorno piccola sarai mia moglie, amata, tutto il mio mondo ... aspettami il mio fiore ..." I felt his lips on my own which made my heart flutter. His emerald eyes shining because of the sun hitting them making him look oh so perfect.
I sat up in my bed quickly my head throbbing. I reached for my pills and took a few then laid back down. I looked outside my window to see it was a cloudy rainy day. Since the episodes with my migraines I've been stuck in the mansion for the rest of the time Rena was gone. Today Ludo said I was getting to be able to take over my side of Fiorella. I sighed silently because that meant Cristiano was trusting me more. I knew sooner or later I would have to go to Fiorella to check everything out. Ludo smiled at me hugging me tightly, "Cristiano just wants you to put your feet in the water sort of speaking. You won't go and be apart of any of the things that go on during the night until you've gotten better. Santino will be there to help you with whatever you may need. I'll be waiting in the SUV for you." I nodded going back into my room to put on my white lace crop top and silk light brown dress pants. As I was walking downstairs I saw another car in the driveway. I ignored it and hopped inside with Ludo and Valer. It didn't take long for us to be in the city. We came upon an old warehouse type of place that you would see in NCIS or something. Valer opened the door to reveal a bare front room, the walls were freshly painted and there were couches and chairs with a bar and a front desk. "Dai, Matteo and the others are waiting on us." I nodded following Ludo farther into the warehouse. Behind another pair of double doors it was a hallway with rooms branched off down the hallway before leading to an elevator. We got on and went to the second floor, we walked down another hallway with offices and gold name plates on the doors. There was one that caught my eye, S. Salavatore, I smirked still right behind Ludo. As he opened the door to the meeting room, I saw Luciano, Donovan, Ciro, Matteo, Santino, Cristiano and Ezra. Uncle smiled at me as he got up to engulf me in one of his bear hugs that I very much enjoyed. "Hello mia dolce nipote, how are you doing?" Uncle said as he hugged me tightly. I hugged him back smiling and looking for two empty seats beside Cristiano and Santino. "I'm good uncle, better now that I've seen your face." He smiled at me going back to sit down. "Sit cara we have a lot to discuss," I nodded going to sit in between my boys. "Now that everyone is here let's get started. Serena there have been some things that you haven't been told about your ancestors..." I was already confused, my ancestors? "Son go get the books off the self in your office." Cristiano nodded getting up and walking out of the room. A few moments later he came back with 4 hard back books. Cristiano set them on the table in front of me. Uncle opened one of the books, "no doubt that your fathers family were one of the first borgatas to establish the Sicilian mafia. While your mothers family has ancient Sicilian blood running threw their veins. One of the first original gangsters came up to your great great great grandmother and her family. Promising them that he would protect them from the men hurting them. He got rid of the bad men in the village soon after her sister was born. Eventually he fell in love with the most beautiful Sicilian woman, Rosetta Hawthorne. They ended up having children which brought together the line of Salvatore's. You are Rosetta's doppelgänger and the chosen one. Your father disappeared after the fire and your mother ran off to America to raise you. There were bad people wanting you only for the power in your blood. She told me that it was better to get you out of Italy while she could. I've been told that you believe your dreams are just dreams but they aren't nipote. Their your memories, one witch in particular sealed those memories away so that you could live a normal all American life. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you everything sooner... I just thought that waiting would help but that wasn't the case either. These books are filled with entry's, pictures, anything you can think of from the past. Look through them and once your done you can ask me anything you want. Let's leave her alone gentlemen she needs some time by herself." All of the men in the room stood up and walked out with Matteo. I sighed just sitting there, I couldn't believe any of it. "Cara, I'll be back when your ready to go home." I nodded looking at one of the hardback books sitting in front of me. I cracked open one of the books to see it was a photograph book. The pictures looked old but as soon as I touched one with my fingertip. It made my heart break, I flippped through a few more pages to see a picture of my grandparents. Once I flipped to the next page it was a bunch of pictures of my parents wedding and a few pictures of me. I sighed putting photograph book to the side and opened one of the other books. It took a couple of hours for me to read all of them but I understood a bit more about everything. I saw a wedding picture of Rosetta and Damon, passionately kissing one another. I blushed a deep red but was thankful no one was around me. I went to the second book that had everything about the mafia in it. My fathers great great great grandfather found the sicilian mafia. He had generations of Salvatore's running Italy for many years before my parents had gotten together and had me. I read the lineage of when the mafia actually started. What families were tied in who married who and things of that nature. Since the other families heads were killed all that they had in here were the kids. Cristiano, Aurora, Santino, Ezra, Durante, Ludo, and Valerius names were in the book. I smiled when my name was underneath my parents. When I looked at the clock on the wall it was already 2:30 AM. I yawned turning off the lights and came outside. Ezra was sitting in the main area smoking a cigarette. He got up dusting himself off and we headed to the Tahoe. The ride on the way home was silent. I had so many questions I wanted to ask. I didn't care if it was late, when I got into my room I changed then went into Ezra's room. He was smoking a blunt laying in bed while he was on his laptop. I took a deep breath and knocked on his door. He looked up at the bedroom door then the bathroom door. He smirked shutting his laptop. "Do you want to talk about something?" I nodded walking over towards the bed. I got on the other side and laid on my side. "I know that my dreams aren't just dreams but they seem too real to be a memory.... and I want you to know that I don't know who I really am... but I'm trying to remember everything I can... I can't remember anything about my family or you..." I felt a tear come down my face and Ezra pulled me into his arms giving me a hug. I put my face in his chest as he stroked my hair. "It's okay... I'm fine. I know you can't so don't think any of us hold you response because we don't. But yes Serena your dreams are memories from a long time ago. Even if they are just fragments and not the whole memory." I nodded, "I've read some of the books and looked through the pictures. I understand what all of this is now. I wish I could remember other memories with Auro and Cris..." Ezra hugged me tighter, "I have to go check something out in the states. I'll be back in a few days look through those books in the mean time." I pulled up the comforter cuddling back into Ezra's chest. He turned out the light laying on his side and pulling me close to him, our legs intertwining. "I'll answer any of the questions you want to know when I come home, okay?" I nodded closing my eyes, "just don't forget I'm here waiting on you." I felt him lift my head up and his warm lips touched mine. I could feel everything melt away underneath his kiss. When our lips parted and he still cuddled me under the covers. "Non dimenticherò mai quella bambina." I relaxed against him letting me get carried away into dreamland.
