A blue light lit up within the dark and bloodied room of what appeared to be a Space Station.. when the light cleared.. Mikoto , Kirito, Sinon, and Asuna appeared, looking nervous.

"Never thought we would be back in this game." said Kirito. "Still, we're much stronger than we were before.. so we should be fine.. especially since the best way to fight the enemies in this game is with slashing weapons."

"Yeah.." said Sinon as she drew a regular sidearm. "But that means I'm kind of useless here.."

"Even without slashing limbs they still have a health amount." said Mikoto. "You can still wittle away at their health."

"Should we take our normal Dungeon clearing position then?" said Asuna. "I'll stick behind and keep your health up, Sinonon can take a ranged position.  And Mikoto-chan and Kirito-kun can go forward and take the main offensive.."

"Not going to work." said Mikoto. "Remember how it was back in Dead Space Online when we first came in? Necromorphs don't function like normal VRMMO enemies, they lie in wait and then ambush you from whatever direction.. sometimes they even follow and wait for openings.. their enemy AIs are incredibly advanced.. The best thing to do, is move in a circle formation to make sure when we're ambushed, it's not a complete surprise.."

"Not good.." said Sinon nervously. "These areas in Dead Space are small and enclosed.. doesn't give us much room to avoid an ambush when it comes.."

"And.. we've got Twitchers too." said Kirito. "Which means slower members of our party will be in danger.

Twitchers.. of all of the Necrotic undead alien monsters that dwelled in Dead Space, Mikoto considered them the freakiest. In the Dead Space universe, workers and soldiers possessed a device called Stasis Unit. Allowing them to throw out an energy that slowed down time around an object. Good for slowing down Necromorphs as you cut down their limbs with Plasma Cutters.  However Twitchers were Necromorphs created from the dead corpses of infantries, which merged with their Stasis units to create a terrible reverse effect where they moved at hyper speed, while possessing a 'twitch' and wobbling warbling sound along with their quivering twitches that made them an absolute fright to encounter..

Of course, they weren't the most dangerous Necromorphs.. but they definitely made you go "WHAT THE F*CK!" when you encountered one for the first time.

The party began making their way forward through the room.

The large sci fi environment room looked like it might have been a waiting room at some point. With tipped over large long chairs.. blood splatters over magazine racks.. and holographic ship monitors hanging from the ceiling glowing next to metal white front counters.

Sinon stopped next to a large window that encompassed half the wall, from which the largest source of light splashed across that half of the room..

"Guys.. look at this.."

"Whoa.. " Kirito murmured, looking at the massive planets and debree that floated among millions of stars. "You think.. that might actually all be virtual environment? Have they advanced that far? Or.. is it still just effects created by flat surfaces..? "

"It's real.." Sinon said. "in VR anyways.. that's just how much VRMMOs have advanced. Millions of miles can be simulated, hundreds of cities..  GGO and DSO are the largest VR environments ever created, both now possessing environments that extend into space.. that can be traversed with ships.."

"I'm guessing many of the other competitors were teleported somewhere else.." Mikoto murmured. "Come on.. we should move.. if we stay too long, Necromorphs will be drawn to us like moths to flames.. Their might even be some watching us now."
