We get to Masons house and go inside. I get his phone from my bag.
"Here" I say handing it to him.
"Thanks." he said taking his phone from me.
"So, it's only 5:30, what do you want to do?" I asked.
"Well as long as I get to look and be with you, I don't care to much." he smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Well, I'm still a little sore so we can't have sex." we laughed for a second then kissed.
"It's a good thing I live out here with no neighbors." he smiled.
"Ya it is." I giggle.
"I have to talk to you." his smile faded away and he looked serious.
"What about?" I was confused.
"I got a job offer."
"What? Where?" I didn't want him to not be at Auburn high.
"The University. I'll be making more money. And there's an upside."
"And that would be?" I questioned.
"There can be an 'US'. As in we can go on dates in public, and hold hands or kiss in the grocery store and not worry about getting fired or suspended." He smiled.
I stepped back. I didn't know what to say. An US??? I can finally be with him!
"Really? You mean it?" A grin the size of Texas started to form on my face and I couldn't stop it.
"Yes I do."
