"Igneel, I'm gonna stay with Lucy for the project, kay ?" Natsu asks, grinning.

Igneel ponders this, and Lucy knows that he's just pretending. There is really no reason for Igneel to disagree. They are responsible, mature and intelligent teens. Well, she is, at the very least.

"Give me a reason why I should allow you to, other than the project." Igneel says sternly and Lucy almost wants to laugh.

"Well, first-"

Igneel holds up a hand.  "Not from you Lucy. I want to hear it from Natsu."

"Uh..." Natsu scratches his head before continuing, "I need to take care of Lucy and the baby ! Also, Lucy will be lonely."

Igneel smiles, satisfied. "Alright then, you can stay with Lucy for the duration of the project."

"Yeah, Luce ! Thanks Dad." Natsu and Lucy fist-bump with smiles.

"Thank you, Mr. Dragneel." Lucy says politely and Igneel laughs.

"Stop with the chit-chat guys ! Lucy, let's go make some babies !"

Igneel's eyes pops out as he stares at the both of them.

"I knew it ! I knew you guys are secretly together !" Igneel yells, as though he has won the lottery.

Lucy giggles while blushing. Ah, there is that playful Igneel which Natsu got his personality from.

"No, I mean-" Natsu starts.

"He means for the project, sir." Lucy cuts in.

"Yeah Pops !"

Igneel laughs a hearty laugh again.

"You Kids. Go make some babies alright ! Shoo Natsu, don't come back till you have a baby !" Igneel says, grinning as he walks up the stairs.

"Sure Pops !" Natsu agrees, before freezing.

He turns to Lucy, and says, "Wait. He was kidding right ?"
