Alright, so Jordan and I figured that right before school we should go to the treehouse. So he brought egg McMuffins instead of cheeseburgers.
"Ok! So before we get the treehouse, there's a big hill that we'll have to cross over." He held my hand. "Buckle up your seat belts! It's gonna be a bumpy riiiiiiide!" And we ran down, but we tripped and I landed on top of Jordan. It was one of the first times we'd made good eye contact. And then, the eye contact turned into a kiss. Even if we were horizontal on the ground, his lips felt soft.
We let go and I asked, "Did we just do that?"
"Yes, and it was great." And he pulled me in to kiss him, once again.
When he brought me into the treehouse, my jaw actually dropped! It looked like a legit hangout. I thought this was gonna be Tyrone's second house! It was legit but it still had this cozy feel to it. Considering the fact that there was a door to a balcony, I'm pretty sure you live in it!
"Wow, Jordan! This is - "
"I thought you'd like it." He smiled. He kept smiling after we kissed, and so did I. But then my smile turned into a grin when I realized that we were here to talk about a plan. A plan of action.
"So, you wanna spill the beans on Donnie's middle name?"
"Why? I mean, it is kinda confidential. He doesn't want anybody to know."
"Well, if your brain let you tell me that's one of his most embarrassing topics, then you must want some kind of revenge."
"Ok, fine... His full name is... Donnie... Edmond... Wahlberg..." We've got him now. But I know how Donnie can be. And I wanted to make sure Donnie didn't lie to naive little Jordan.
"Hey Jordan, you think Mark is home?"
"Mark? Probably. He cuts class all the time and thinks school's a joke. So, he's most likely home. Why?"
"I'd just like some proof."
Next thing you know we're ringing the doorbell of Donnie's house looking for his other brother. Your most hated douche bag. Ladies and gentlemen, Mark Wahlberg! And he came through the door with a backwards hat, sagging pants to show off his Calvin Klein waist band, shirtless (as always), and a toothpick in his mouth.
"What?" He asked like we were in the middle of something.
"Mark, what's Donnie's middle name?" I tried to be nice.
"How should I know? Is this supposed to be information I need to succeed in life? No. So I don't know and I don't care."
"Oh, you will in a second! Do you know where your birth certificates are?"
Later, we figured out Donnie told the truth Jordan about his middle name. And we ended up paying him twenty bucks for him to come to school with us. He seemed happy about us paying back Donnie, though...
We snuck into the principal's office and found the intercom!
"Bingo!" I whispered. Mark closed the door and became our lookout.
Jordan stood next to me. "Jennifer, are you sure you want to do this? I don't know if this is fair."
"Um, I think exploiting your embarrassing middle name to the entire school is equivalent to Joey trying to make out with me and hurt you and me struggling to get his grubby little paws away from me.
"I just don't think - "
"Pardon the interruption, students..."
