The next day I awoke to Fin poking me on the shoulder.

"Wake up kid." he whispered. "We got to go."

"Uggg." I groaned.

"You have five minutes to get ready. I'm gonna go wake Sandy." He walked out of our room. I lay in bed and rubbed my eyes. Five minutes!? I got up and quietly went to the closet. I pulled out my jacket, a shirt and a pair of pants. I got dressed and then brushed my hair and teeth. I grabbed a bag and put some food and money in it, just incase. I quietly walked into the dark kitchen. Mom was still sleeping in her room and Fin was waking Sandy up. I grabbed a piece of bread and took a bite out of it.

"Stale!" I whispered to myself and angrily through my breakfast in the trash. I wasn't angry because I had no breakfast, I was angry because we were poor. I had never took the time to realize that before. I cursed to myself for being so careless. That was the day I realized that I needed to do something. I needed to help Mom. I promised myself that I would bring something back for her from Bespin.

"Come on." Fin and Sandy walked into the kitchen and headed towards the door. I followed them thinking about Mom.

"So Fin how are we gonna get there?" I asked as we walked through the snow towards the rebel base.

"I found a BB unit that will pilot one of the X-wings in case we get attacked. The other fighter will be in the the Twighlight."

"What's that?" I questioned him.

"I found ship called the Twighlight in the rebel base. It's garbage but it'll work." He explained to me and Sandy.

"I'm so excited to get off this planet, even if it's on a crappy ship!" Sandy exclaimed.

We all laughed. It was one of the only times in my life that I had found Sandy enjoyable.

"Here she is!" Fin said when we entered the rebel base. I stood in front of a junky ship.

"Ha" Sandy put her hands on her hips. "This thing is a piece of crap!"

Fin rolled his eyes. "This is the ship of Anakin Skywalker!"

"Oh." Sandy looked at the ground ashamed. I remembered the story that Fin had told me about Shimi Skywalker and how Sandy loved it.

"Ok then let's go!" I said walking towards the ship.

"Poe, you go start up the Twighlight. Sandy, get the orange X-wing and load it into the the back." Fin instructed.  Oh no. I thought. I don't know how to start up a ship. But I didn't argue.

"Where are you gonna go?" Sandy asked.

"I'm gonna get the droid I found and he's gonna pilot Poe's X-wing." Fin walked into the back room.

"What?! You have a ship?" Sandy said. "Can I have the orange one?"

"I guess so." I walked over to the Twighlight. Sandy followed me and started telling me the story of Anakin Skywalker and Shimi.

"Did you know that Anakin was with his Padawan Ahsoka Tano when he found the ship." She told me as we boarded the ship. "When Qui Gon came to get Anakin he had to race in a pod and he won too! Qui Gon took him to the Jedi temple and....." I blocked her out and tried to focus on the ship. I walked into the cockpit and looked around. It wasn't just junky on the outside. I could tell it hadn't been flown in a while. I examined the controls. I had never seen them before and they were quite confusing. I'll get Fin to help me. I thought.

"Hey, are you okay?" Sandy yelled in my ear. "You look weird!"

I swatted her away. "I'm fine." I scowled. "Just thinking."

Sandy shrugged and walked away. I sat in the pilots seat and leaned back into the cushions. I ran my right hand over the buttons and stick controls. Hopefuly Fin knows how to work this thing. I wondered. Then it hit me. How would Fin know how to fix a ship. How would he know where to get paint. How would he know how to pilot a ship. We didn't have books about that. Did we? I though of the book shelf. I had never recalled any books about piloting or fixing ships. So, where did Fin get the information?

"Hey kid whacha thinking about?" Fin stepped into the cockpit and I turned around in the chair and glared at him. His eyes got big in confusion. "Okay? You look really mad! What's wrong?" He backed up a little.

"How did you know how to fix those ships? Who taught you?" I stood up making myself taller and probably scarier. "Mom said that you have lived with her all your life, so what are you guys not telling me?"

Fin took an unsteady breath a stepped closer to me. "Poe, I'm with the resistance. All those hunting trips weren't hunting trips. I went to the resistance base, gave them reports, went on missions and then brought back food so it would seem like I was hunting. I'm sorry. We lied to you."

"We? Who else knew?" I couldn't belive that my brother would lie to me. But than again, he lied to Mom.

"Yeah, Mom and Sandy, they know too."
