Our table cheered for the people who made it. Including me. I high fived my new teammates and McGonagall started to speak again.
"Also, we will have a guest coming tomorrow to watch the practices. This person was the Gryffindor seeker, starting in his first year, Mr. Harry Potter," a lot of the students' mouths dropped and I turned to Albus and James. They had confused looks on their faces.
"Did he tell you guys about that?" I ask them.
"No..." James answered.
"Maybe it wasn't planned ahead of time," Al reasoned. It must have been, because I would suppose that his children would know about it.
After dinner, we sat in he Common room, the fire crackling and burning. I was playing Wizard Chess with Louis, Fred and James was trying to sell some of the Weasley Wizard Wheezes things to other students, Paige was helping Albus and Scorpius with their homework, and Devin was sitting in one of the chairs in front of the fire, his tiger prowling at his feet.
"Are you even allowed to have that thing here? It's a wild animal," Paige eyed the white tiger.
"First of all, he's not a 'thing' or an 'it.' This is Fu," he corrects Paige and pulls Fu into his lap.
"Your second point?" Louis said after making his move on the game board.
"I'm training Fu. He isn't straight out of the wild. I got him when he was born. And I think I can handle him," Devin said in an as-a-matter-of-a-fact tone.
"Someday your head is going to get bit off by that tiger. And you trained him very well," Albus says and Devin rolls his eyes. Al does have a point. Louis and I finished our game, he won, I lost, then Paige and I trudged upstairs to the girls' dormitory, along with Rose, Victoire, and Dominique.
I changed into pajama pants and a t-shirt, and crawled under the covers of my bed. Tomorrow we have to practice for quidditch. In front of Harry Potter, also. That just made me nervous. I still can't believe I'm friends with his kids. Harry Potter is the greatest auror, seeker, and he defeated Voldemort. Gotta give him credit.

I rub the sleep from my eyes as Rose shook me awake. I yawned and dropped my feet to the cold, hardwood floor.
"Whoa," I hear Rose say.
"What?" I asked, dozed.
"Your hair is a mess," she tells me.
"It happens." I say and get my clean robes out. I change into them, then throw two mismatching socks on. One red and black stripes, the other, plain orange. It's good luck to wear two different socks. Call me strange, but that's what I believe.
I fix my hair from its bed head, then slump down stairs. I walk into the Great Hall, and look down the Gryffindor table for my friends. I spotted James and Scorpius, so I headed towards them. The rest of the group was there, also. I sat down in between Brody and Paige, and helped myself to some biscuits and honey.
"Gryffindor quidditch team doesn't go to fourth period today. We go to practice instead," Louis told me with a mouth full of Coco Puffs. I nod, because my mouth is too full to talk.
"How do you know?" James asked him.
"I past Hooch in the halls today, she told me to tell you guys that."
"Quiet, everyone!" McGonagall said from the staff table. She continued, "Quidditch practices are today. Madam Hooch should've let each team know when their practice is. And please give a warm welcome to Harry Potter."
Sure enough, at the end of the staff table nex to Hagrid, stood Harry Potter. As he stood up from his seat, he got many cheers and applauds. Even from the Slytherin table. I glanced over at the Slytherins and all but the Racleen brothers and Gallowen, were clapping.
