Chapter 11, Beaches and Bitches

We got ready and caught a bus to the mall. We went into target and Bradon bought a black pair of board shorts and a plain white top. I bought a brand new black and white triangle bikini. I also bout a nice white dress to wear over the bikini. After a fun shopping trip, we headed to the bus stop to catch a bus to the beach. 

*At the beach*

Bradon: "So Where would you like to sit?"

Vanessa: "How about over there?"

I pointed to a empty spot in the half shade and half sun.

Bradon: "Good choice."

We walked over to area where we were going to sit, Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Molly. 

Molly: "Hey Vanessa. Who's this?"

Bradon: "Hey. I'm bradon."

Molly: "Nice to meet you Bradon. I'm Molly."

Bradon: "Nice to meet you too." 

Molly: "So are you guys like a thing?"

Vanessa: "Oh No. That will never happen. We are just class friends."

Molly: "Oh ok."

Vanesa: "Bradon, Why don't you save our spot. I'll be there in a sec."

Bradon: "Ok. Bye Molly."

Molly: "Bye."

Vanessa: "So. How's things with Ty?"

Molly: "That's what I came up to you to talk about."

Vanessa: "Oh really. Why?"

Molly: "We broke up."

Vanessa: "WHAT! WHY?"

Molly: "Well I've been thinking about breaking up with him for awhile now, and I saw the way looked when you found out that we were going out. And there's this way that he looks at you. He never looks at me like that."  

Vanessa: "Molly, You didn't have to break up with him because of me."

Molly: "No it's ok, really. It's for the best."

Vanessa: "Ok well, I'm trowing a party next weekend. You should come."

Molly: "That would be great. Thank you."

Vanessa: "Hey no problem."

Molly: "Ok well I better go. Bye."

Vanessa: "Bye."

I walked back to Bradon and saw him putting on suncream. I looked at him funnaly.

Bradon: "What?"

Vanessa: "I didn't picture you as a suncream kid of guy."

Bradon: "Well I don't want to get cancer." 

Vanessa: "That's a good point."

We got undressed leaving our swimmers on and ran to the water. He dived straight into the water, While I took awhile just to get to my knees. He ran up to me, picked me up and carried me deeper into the water.

Vanessa: "Bradon, put me now right now."

Bradon: "You need to get in the water." He kept walking out further.

Vanessa: "PUT ME DOWN NOW!"

Bradon. "Fine."

He dropped me into the water and I was now soaking in water. I splashed him with water, Then he splashed me back. We had a full on water fight in the ocean. After the beach we went both took a bus home. We got on the same bus but he had to get off way before me so we said our goodbyes there.

*The next day*

I went to my locker to get out my book for period 1 and 2. I closed my locker and turned around. I jumped at the sight of a girl I have not met before, waiting behind me.

Jacinta: "Hey. Vanessa right? I'm Jacinta, Bradon's sister."

Vanessa: "Bradon has a sister? He never told me that."

Jacinta: "Yeah he doesn't tell anyone."

Vanessa: "Why?"

Jacinta: "I don't know. Any I am supposed to be telling you why you should go out with him."

Vanessa: "Did he put you up to this?"

Jacinta: "No Jake did."

Vanessa: "Who's Jake?"

Jacinta: "Bradon's friend."

Vanessa: "Bradon has friends."

Jacinta: "Haha. My thoughts exactly. Any way Bradon's not a bad guy. you're probably thinking that I'm just saying this because I was asked to, but I actually mean it. He's not bad and he's not a player. He just hasn't found the right girl yet. You something different. You are the first girl he has ever taken Ice skating. I know that sounds strange, but that Ice rink really means something to him. He can't stop thinking, talking, writing or drawing about you. He really likes you Vanessa, and I really think you should give him a chance. Plus you are like the only Non-Fake girl he has like, and I think we could be great friends." 

Vanessa: "I don't know."

Jacinta: "Well just think about it. Please."

Vanessa: "Ok I will."

Jacinta: "OK well I've got to get to home room but i will see you around." 

Vanessa: "Ok bye." 

Jacinta: "Bye." She disappears around the corner and I entered My homeroom class.

*Morning tea*

After class, I went to my locker to put my books away but I was stopped in my tracks by Bianca, Sami's little spy. 

Bianca: "So I heard that you went on a date with Bradon." 

Vanessa: "Where did you hear that." I said in a bitchy 'I don't care' tone.

Bianca: "Places. I also hear that he stayed the night."

Vanessa: "Do you know what I heard? I heard that Bad things happen to bad little spies that listen to every ones conversations. And you can tell Sami that I don't like him and the only reason I went on a date with him was because I had no choice to. How Back the fuck off and leave me alone." I stared at her in an annoyed death stare.

Vanessa: "Thank you." I changed my tone to a nice innocent little girl tone. I then started to walk away.

Bianca: "You better watch you back Vanessa hill!" She shouted out behind me.

Vanessa: "What ever!" I shouted back and continued to walk to my locker.
