Colby has always been the cute adorable best friend but I would've never expected it to turn out like this. I was hanging out with Colby one afternoon after school and he laid his head in my lap as always and I was playing with his hair. We were watching Spongebob and laughing at anything we thought was funny. We would hang out together until around 8ish on school nights so he was about to leave and I thought nothing of the extra long hug he'd given me before he left. I took a quick shower and hopped into bed and slowly drifted to sleep. -tap- -tap- -tap- my eyes opened to squint toward my clock it was 6 a.m. I looked at my window as another pebble hit it. I got up and looked out the window to see Colby standing outside with a bouquet of white lillie's and a large poster board that read, "I know I'm not the Romeo you would expect but Prom wouldn't be the same without you being my Juliet." I gasped as I read it. I ran downstairs and embraced him in a tight hug.
"Awe! Colby! This is so sweet!" I told him as he handed me the lillie's.
"(Y/n), will you go to prom with me? And possibly be my girlfriend?" He asked blushing slightly.
"Yes! To both questions!" I shrieked.
"Oh thank god! Now I can finally do this." He said as he pushed his lips to mine moving our lips nsync.
