I woke up to to see a smiling face on the pillow next to mine. Colby. I almost forgot that he spent the night. I kissed his nose.
"Good morning Babe." I told him he giggled.
"Good morning to you. Hey what time is it?" He asked.
"2 in the afternoon. Why do you ask?" I said turning to him.
"I've got something planned for us later and I think you should help me get everything set up for it." He grinned widly.
"What are we doing?" I asked suspiciously.
"I was thinking maybe a movie." He said nonchalantly. He got out of my bed and threw on his shirt pulling the blanket off my bed. I got up as well helping him pull the pillows off my bed. I found more pillows and blankets throughout the house piling them into the back of his truck but not before adding an old mattress to it. We situated everything into a comfortable position. We drove to the drive in movie theater and got set up. We were seeing the new "It" it's supposed to be the scariest movie they're showing. Colby knew I loved scary movies but he also knew I hated clowns. It wasn't until around 5 when it started to get dark that the movie started. I curled up to Colby as he held me close. During the movie I felt a trickle of water on my arm then another on my thigh until a downpour started. I squealed as Colby scooped me up putting me in the truck jumping in beside me.
"My poor blankets." I said
"I'll buy you some more, I promise." He giggled shaking out his wet hair. I smiled getting out of the truck and standing in the middle of the rain.
"Its not that bad. Come on Colby!" I shouted to him over the rain. He got out and joined me. The radio was blasting a slow song and Colby grabbed my hips and pulled me closer. He started swaying and humming along to the song. I swayed with him. He looked into my eyes inching closer to me slowly. We were centimeters apart, I could feel his breath on my lips. I jumped to my tip toes meeting his lips.
"I love you Colby."
"I love you too (y/n)."
