Chapter #16: Living alone

"I think we need to talk." Jin's mother said as you began to shiver in fear. 

She brought both of you inside the dining room and resumed her staring. You didn't dare to flinch. You know it's not very appropriate to hug each other literally in the middle of the living room, where the servants might see you or even worse, Mr.Kim. 

"Jin-ah, do you have an explanation for what had just happened?" Her voice was stern along with a hint of anger. 

"Eomma, we just got married. Please don't do this to us. We weren't even doing anything crazy. All we were doing was hugging." Jin tried reasoning out your behavior. 

"Jin-ah. Actually, you are right. I was thinking if I should let you guys live alone." She said as your head snapped up. 

"No! I want to live as a family!" You said as Jin turned towards you with a questioning gaze.

"Eomeoni, yes, it might be difficult for us to get closer with each other, but I would like to live together as a family. It could be lonely at times." You said whatever came to you mind. 

"Are you sure?" She asked as you nodded firmly. 

"One hundred percent." 

"Alright, then, you'll be leaving alone along with Jin in our guest house from now on." She said and left as you frowned. 

"Wait what?" You asked Jin who just laughed. 

"Jin! What is happening?" You asked him in confusion. 

"You don't know about my mother. She enjoys doing things that one says not to do. In our case, you said you wanted to live together so she is making us living the guest house alone." With that, he left while chuckling like mad man. 

"What the hell is wrong with this family?" You mumbled to yourself before following Jin upstairs to your room.

Jin left for his schedule with a kiss on your cheek. Waving him goodbye with some good luck wishes, you went back inside your room and took your medical book and began to review all the content.

Before you knew it, it was Dinner time. Jin was still not home and you began to worry. Closing your book, you dialed Jin's number only for a girl to pick up.

"Hello? Jin?" You asked into the phone.

"Sorry, he's currently filming a CF." The girl replied.

"Oh, may I know who this is?" You asked, curiosity getting the best of you.

"I'm in charge of taking care of his personal belongings while he's gone. I'm Sarah." She spoke.

"Oh, um, Sarah, do you have any idea when the filming will be done?"

"It's actually beginning to wrap up. Jin should be home by next hour or so as he's done with his part." She said as you thanked her and hung up.

"Y/N." Someone knocked on the door as you replied with 'the door's open, come in'. 

"Jin and you will be leaving to your new apartment tomorrow. Make sure both of you are prepared." Jin's eomma said and as she was about to exit the room, you called for you. 

"Eomeoni! I want to talk to you." 

"What is it, dear?"

"Did we something wrong?" You asked as she smiled.

"No."

"Did I do something wrong? Why should we leave you all and live alone somewhere we're not similar with?" Jin's eomma laughed.
