Chapter 1: The awkward first meeting

"Y/N, dear, they'll be here any time now. Get ready!" Your mother screamed from downstairs as you sighed, looking at your reflection on the table side mirrior.

"All I wanted to do was work for 2 years before getting married." You mumbled as you sighed once again before starting to style your hair.

Y/N was the most unique girl you'd ever see. At first look, you'd think she looks cute. At second look, you'd think she looks sexy. At third look, you'd think look looks unbearably beautiful. She had this charm that makes her unique that way. Of course, she doesn't notice that because her insecurites blind her eyes.

After curling the bottom of your hair, you braided a waterfall plait, your (whatever your hair color is) hair only adding more beauty to itself.

You wanted to have a very natural impact on the guests who will be arriving at any time now, so you decided on just some eyeliner and mascara.

"Unnie (elder sister), they're here!" Your younger sister, Amber, came inside the room chirping. You quickly wore your best fake smile and nodded towards your little sister.

You went downstairs with your little sister walking on the other side of you. You carefully placed each of your step because she didn't want to trip by your long baby pink floral dress that hugged your curves perfectly and embarrass herself.

As soon as you placed your foot on the last step, Mrs.Kim squealed:

"Aigoo, look at my daughter-in-law!" causing you to blush.

The blush wasn't because you were being 'praised' but because of the embarassment that was caused.

"Eomma, you're embarassing her." He said, what was his name again, Fin or something? He smiled at you and for some weird reason, you smiled back. You took seat in an empty chair beside your mother.

"If you give your permission, Mr.(your last name/your father's name), I'd like to talk to Y/N before the engagement." He said. What a shame, I don't know his name and yet he does....

"Of course, son!" Your father said as he stood up. He stopped before you asking for your hand as he helped you up. Everyone awed as you mentally rolled your eyes.

~Inside the nearest room~

"So, um, hey?" You said as he nodded.

"Right, so you know who I am right?" He started off with a heavy exhalation.

"No..." You mumbled as he laughed in disbelief.

"What? You don't know me??" He asked as you nodded slowly caressing your left arm with your right palm which didn't scream awkward at all.

He laughed once again which started to scare you.

"I'm Kim Seok Jin. The eldest member of the very popular boyband, BTS." He said as you nodded slowly.

"Oh, I see." You replied as he sighed.

"You have no clue who I am, do you?" He asked as nodded your head in a timid manner.

"That's great!" His frown quickly turned into the most beautiful smile you've ever seen.

"I know things can get pretty awkward seeing I was born awkward as well, but, I'll try my best to work things out between us. Of course, our parents will be expecting a baby within 5 months from our marriage, but I don't care. We'll plan for one when you are ready because I'm already in love with you." He spoke as your eyes widened. You liked the fact that he cared about you even when both of you were forced to marry each other.

"Thanks." You said not knowing how to respond to his little speech. He chuckled.

"Alright, let's go outside before they draw any conclusions." He winked as you giggled.

He held his hand out and this time you wanted to hold to hold it.

"So, the marriage will be the day after tomorrow. We'll only be inviting extemely close friends and relatives." The fathers were talking to each other while the mothers were planning the food and a trip somewhere as honeymoon.

You quietly sat in your seat and Jin sat on his. You did catch glances of his perfect face at time to time, you couldn't help it.

"As our culture goes, the groom will be in the bride's house before the marriage date and vice versa." Mr.Kim said as your head shot right up. You wanted to scream 'oh hell no' but that's not something you'd do to your father-in-law, now is it?

"Yeah, that's exactly what I was going to say!" Your mother chirped as you almost glared at her.

"I don't mind." Jin agreed as your held your head down low, defeated.
