Chapter 3: serious injuries

apart from being embarrassed last night, I was rather cheerful today.

today is a sacred day of peace when the Japanese people gather around the Koi ponds and meditate to cleanse their minds and souls..

we are required to wear traditional clothing, I wore my large black Kimono and smiled softly as I made my way to the pond to join my grandmother and a few others.

I ran into Harry, "Oh, hello Miss Saka." he greeted.

"why so dressed up?" he asked.

"I'm on my way to the Koi pond, it's sort of a sacred day.." I answered confidently.

Suddenly Stephanie and Lilian ran up to me, "can we go please!" They tugged on my sleeves.

"girls!" Snape swiftly chased after them.

I wrapped my arms around them and smiled, "come on.." I walked them away.

Snape looked at me and nodded in approval as he stood next to Harry, he noticed him.

"don't you have somewhere to be, Potter." Snape retorted.

"Yes sir." he walked away.

Harry sped off to professor McGonagall's class and sat next to Ron, "where have you been, you're late." Ron scorned.

"sorry, i was talking to Miss Saka when the two girls from the train station showed up." Harry replied.

"oh come on you're not still going on about them are you?" Ron said in disbelief.

"I don't know Ron, i think there's more to them thank we think, Miss Saka appears to be a mother figure towards them too." Harry assured.

"you think she's their mother?" Ron asked.

"that's an interesting theory.." Hermione says from the desk behind them.

Harry and Ron look at her..

Ron quickly looks back at Harry, "maybe you should ask her.." he implies.

"I don't know Ron, Miss Saka seems just a Godmother of a sort, i didn't really say I thought she was their mother, but who are their real parents if not her?" Harry asked her confused.

"don't know Harry..." she shook her head sincerely.

a Koi pond was built in a large grassy area inside the castle near the roofed pathway, I saw my grandmother and a few other Japanese people waiting for me.

I held Stephanie and Lillian's shoulders as I walked towards them, I slowly sat down with them next to me.

Stephanie and Lillian kept their eyes open as the rest of us closed ours to the sound of water being disturbed gently by the fish..

I retreated from the real world and entered my mind, it was full of pain and hopelessness.

I had much to sort out..

after I spent an hour thinking, I opened my eyes.

but had no success in ridding myself of these painful memories.

I sighed softly and looked at the girls, "you should head off to your classes..." I smiled.

they looked at me with confusion but kindly did as I wished, after everyone besides me left the pool.

I sat there alone staring endlessly into the water..

as I was doing so, Lucius suddenly appears and walks up beside me.

I look up, he hands me a round Emerald ball.

he knew my favorite jewel was Emerald and that my favorite color was neon green

but why is he here? and without a word..

He turns and leaves..

I held it in my palms and look back up confused, he looks into my eyes and slightly caresses my cheek then leaves.

I rub the orb with my thumb.

why did he give me this? is it a sign of some sort that he hasn't forgotten me? That he still loves me?

I thought for awhile, I soon left the Koi pond and headed back to my Temple to change clothes and get back to my duties.

I put the orb on a bronze pedestal and quickly left..

I scanned the grounds many times before coming across a large mountain troll..

I was still in thought of the odd encounter with Lucius..

I never instantly think to kill so I always try to safely capture and release first..

I grab some rope from Hagrid's tool shed and run back, I throw it over the trolls neck and as soon as I tighten it a wolf attacks me.

I girlishly shout as it bites my shoulder, It continued to bite and scratch me severely.

I was soon able to pull my sword out and kill it..

I then fell to the ground and passed out as the troll scurried away..

I laid there for two hours before Hagrid found me, "by Merlin's beard.." he cursed and rushed to fetch Dumbledore and a few others.

they stood over me as Snape pushed his way through frantically to check my injuries, "how long has she been here?" Dumbledore questioned calmly.

"Don't know sir, I found her just like this after I heard screams two hours ago." Hagrid replied.

"we have to get her to the hospital wing now!" Snape picked me up and wasted no time getting me there.

 Hagrid, Dumbledore and Mrs. McGonagall quickly followed.

as soon as I was settled in a bed and my wounds dressed, Lucius rushes in.

Snape held my hand at my bed side, Lucius stared at me with worry.

"she'll be fine, but she needs you more than anyone else now. If you still love her you'd stay with her." Dumbledore informed him sincerely.

Snape looked at Lucius with sadness but with anger as well, Lucius sat on my left and held my hand tightly.
