Chapter 8: Lucius's secret

I opened the door as cauldrons and beakers bubbled, I grabbed my papers from the desk straightening them up once again and stood beside a table containing the plants I will be teaching about today.

as Snape worked on paperwork it was my duty to teach.

I grabbed the first plant and started describing it, "Mugwort, Mugwort is used to treat liver, stomach and intestinal problems."

"it is also used to treat insomnia and ease depression and general tension, it is meant to be taken as a tea."

"the parts that are usable are the leaves, steams, and roots. it can be made into an oil as well."

"Mugwort is found in Japan, China and other European countries." I moved the plant around slowly in my hand as I spoke and as the students started copying it down.

in my Temple Saiyo sat on the floor near the medicine cabinet, Lucius sat up in bed dressed in a white baggy shirt as his mind wondered endlessly.

"what is going through your mind?" Saiyo asked sincerely.

"i cannot say.." Lucius replied.

"if you cannot tell me, then tell Sakakura.." Saiyo insisted.

"you don't understand, I can't tell her.." Lucius strongly informed him.

Saiyo begun playing the traditional Japanese flute as Lucius had a flash back from last night.

as Lucius opened the door in pain he looked back at Narcissa after she called his name, "Lucius.." she called with a snobby tone.

"if you mention this conversation to anyone, Especially her, i'll kill her.." she turned serious.

Lucius widened his eyes slightly and quickly walked out of the door closing it behind him.

he then looked up afterwards, "what are you playing?" Lucius asked curiously.

Saiyo stopped and looked at him, "it is called silent moon"

"Sakakura explained what had happened to her a few days ago and last night, she explained that the moon healed her, so I am honoring and thanking it for doing so."

"after all, she is like a daughter to me." Saiyo smiled and then continued to play.

Lucius stared at him and started to think about me and what Saiyo had said.

as I was moving on to the next plant the entire classroom could hear sudden crashing and shouting from outside, everyone gasped and looked up as I and Snape did.

we both ran to the door, I opened it carefully, when it was just enough, Lilian peaked around the corner and scurried out. "Lilian!" I shouted trying to grab her.

"it's alright, it's just Hagrid!" she yelled back.

I, Snape and Stephanie stepped outside and walked over to him.

There was a large crate on the ground.

"Hagrid.." I said confused.

"My apologies to the both of you, I was carrying this crate back to my house and lost my grip." he said.

I noticed something with Japanese writing sticking out of the top and kneeled beside it and opened the lid, "these are Japanese products.." I looked up with an excited expression while holding a blue bottle of Ramune soda.

he nodded, "haha Yes, I must confess, Those tea plants you gave me were wonderful, It was so delicious I decided to explore more and bought a crate full of Japanese treats." he laughed.
