Exhausted was just one way to describe how I feel right now. If I had the chance to sleep, I would, but apparently I can't. Mainly two reasons: one, I have been practicing on all my elements including this new on that decided to make itself comfortable on my back. Two, the one-monthly visit came along and pain was just an understatement. And yes, it's crazy that it stops me from sleeping.Luckily, I had two girls who understood and laid off a bit unlike the boys whereas they made me hate them so much at that moment till the point when I could plan each of their deaths and make it seem like it was an accident. Don't worry, I have my ways.
You're probably wondering what happened once the King made an appearance to my room.
After revealing my wings, he just gawked at it until recognition settled in. He explained how I got this from my mother's side because her mother was from a different planet, which by the way I never knew existed. He also told me that there are probably thousands or even millions of other planets out there in the galaxy with different creatures.
Apparently, my mother had lived there all her life until something traumatic happened, causing her to come to Nertronia. The King said she doesn't have any wings and the only reason why, was because it has skipped a generation. He has also felt worried for me because it was unhealthy to contain this much power within me, and my body possibly won't be able to handle it. But only time will tell, and so far, it's been a week now since he told me this.
So, that's my life.
The only good that came out of the situation was that I won't have to worry about controlling my feelings, even though I suck at it, because my true powers are revealed.
I hope so....
"Joy!"Someone's voice snapped.
Robert walked over to where I was standing, "You've been holding this sword for ten minutes! Get your head out of la la land and pay attention! Now do what I told you to do."
If I could just wrap my hands around-
"Joy!"
Huffing in annoyance, I concentrated on the sword I held in my hands. The handle was made out of a golden metal, and the silver, sharp blade almost reached to three feet long. It felt right in my hands- as if I could do anything with it, without any struggle.
Fire.
I thought of fire as I focused on the silver blade. Heat flooded my veins, and traveled to my fingertips. The cold metal was slowly burning but didn't affected me.
More fire. More heat.
Suddenly, the silver blade was set on fire. But it wasn't wild like it normally would be, it was- calm. Then slowly, the fire clung on to the sword, showing off the bright orange color.
"Well finally," Robert smirked, "took you long enough." He walked over to the rack of swords and picked out a similar one to mine, but a darker color, and came back to his spot. He held up his sword and said, "Now, we fight."
.
.
"It was like I had it all in me! The rushing feeling of holding the sword and just using it made me feel so...." I trailed off as I excitedly told Robert and Henry.
"Invincible?"
"Special?"
"Powerful?"
"Amazing?"
"Yes," I said to all their guesses, "Just fan-freakin-tastic."
They both chuckled as I thought back to the last time I've ever felt that much excitement. Although I had many great moments here, I tried remembering anything back on Earth.
