Luke woke up early as usual and before Calum because of his classes. Luke was very tired, but he knew he could get through this day and every other day as well. "Babyyy come back to bedddd." Calum said muffled by his pillow. "I have class babe." Luke said fixing his hair. "Ughhhh." Calum said. Before Luke could answer a knock was at their door. Luke opened it and once he was met with the face that was meters across from his, his face paled. "Babe, who's at the—Get Out!" Calum walked up to Luke but once he saw who it was, his emotion changed instantly.
"Dad, wha–what are you doing here?" Luke asked. "I thought you left already." Luke added. "Well, I'm not leaving without you. And I have some friends who will like to help you on making your decision." He smirked. Then, two buff scary looking guys walked in. Calum quickly pulled Luke behind him. "You have no right to do this. You need to leave now." Calum said. "Boys, you know what to do." He smirked. Luke's dad closed the door and then he locked it. One dude went to Calum and the other went to Luke. Before you know it both of them were knocked out.

When Calum woke up he was tied to a chair and so was Luke still unconscious right across from him. "Oh good, now we need to wait for my son to wake up. Then we'll get started." Luke's dad smirked. Minutes later, Luke woke up. "Dad? Why are you doing this?" He asked. "I always get what I want and you refused. So I guess we had to do it the hard way." He said.
"You guys know what to do. I'll be back in an hour and you guys better be done." He said then left. Then, the guy swung a punch at Calum right in the face. "Noo! Stop!" Luke yelled. "It's okay babe. I'm okay." Calum lied, but they both knew he wasn't. Then, the other guy took a swing at Luke. It kept going on like that for an hour. Calum had a swollen eye, a busted lip, and a broken nose. Luke had a concussion, a broken nose, and a black eye.
"So, had enough now?" Luke's dad walked back in. "No. I will never go back with you dad." Luke protested. "Well, keep going lads." His dad said and say back and watched. Then, Zach came in, but they didn't notice. His eyes were wide. He got his phone and dialed 911. He went out of the room so they wouldn't hear.
35 minutes later the police came. "Put your hands up where we could see them. Slowly put them behind your head and get down on your knees. Now!" One of the yelled. Two of them untied Calum and Luke. And called an ambulance. Luke is now debating whether or not he has bad luck or a bad life. It's somewhere in between. Calum got put on the stretcher first then, Luke. "Babe, i love you." Calum mumbled as he has a busted lip. "I love you..." Then he passed out due to his concussion. "Babe! Luke!" Calum called, but the paramedic person told him to relax and that he was in good hands.

Calum was going to be fine. But, Luke had a big concussion and his life could end. Calum anxiously waiting in his bed. "Okay, unfortunately Luke's life could end because of his concussion so he cannot do anything dangerous. If he does his life will be at risk. He has medicine to take. I already gave it to him so he knows what to do. You can see him now." The doctor said to Calum. Calum got up and walked to Luke's room.
Luke was barely awake. His head was hurting like hell, he knew what the doctors said about his life and he was scared. "Babe, I'm so sorry that this happened to you." Calum felt a tear roll down his cheek. Luke was too sore to answer, but he grabbed his hand and smiled lightly. "I will never let anyone hurt you again. I love you so much Luke. Please don't ever forget that." Calum cried. Then, he heard a long beep.
"Help! Doctor!" He yelled. Nurses and Doctors came in trying to revive Luke. They kicked Calum out, Calum wasn't pleased, but at the same time he knew that if he was in there and Luke didn't survive he would lose it. Calum cried so much. He can't lose Luke. Luke's all he has left. They only had each other.
The doctor came back out.
"He'll be okay. You can go see him now if you'd like."
"Okay thank you doctor."
Calum went back in there and Luke was fully awake. "You almost left me." Calum frowned. "I'm still here baby." He smiled. Which made Calum smile. "For a second I thought that we wouldn't be able to get married because you would've left me." Calum said. "Don't think that. I'm not going to leave you because... well, you're all I have left." Luke quietly said that last part.
"I couldn't bare to leave you, not after all we've been through. No, you're still stuck with me." Luke laughed. "Yeah well I'm glad." Calum smiled, grabbing Luke's hand. "Don't worry we're still going to get married. I'm sure of it." Luke smiled. "Okay Luke, we are going to have you stay over night so we can take more X-rays." The doctor said. "Okay." Luke nodded. "Do you think I would be able to stay with him?" Calum asked. "I don't dd why not. Just don't cause any ruckus." He joked. Then he left. When Calum looked at Luke, Luke was just daydreaming. But, Luke was thinking about how crappy his life is. Like it all started when he met Calum. Calum couldn't possibly be the reason why, well, some of it but not all of it. "What'cha thinking about babe?" Calum asked. "N-nothing." Luke shrugged. "Are you sure?" Calum pushed. "Yeah, it's nothing really." Luke fake smiled. "Okay, you can tell me anything just remember that." Calum told him, Luke nodded.
Luke had lots of fears due to his 'amazing' life. One of them was hospitals, you know what happened last time he was in a hospital. Luke made some room for Calum but Luke couldn't scoot that far. But, they made it work. Luke didn't have any wires in him so that helped them a little bit, but Luke was still very sore. Calum went to sleep before Luke. Luke heard voices and he knew he should be scared because some staff members have to be here just in case something happens. Luke kept thinking if he should die or not. He's been kidnapped, shot, raped, now this. If this continues to happen Luke doesn't think he can survive. He hates reliving those events that's why he barely talks about it. Luke was sad. He hated his life. He was crying, he didn't know it until he felt tears dripping on his skin. Luke got up and found a scalpel (a surgical knife). He didn't want to, but he did. He thought maybe he just wasn't supposed to live anymore. He thought maybe life isn't for everyone and he was one of those people. He grabbed it and pressed it up against his skin. He groaned and winced in pain, which woke Calum up.
"Babe! What are you doing?!" Calum yelled. Luke didn't stop. Calum took the scalpel away. "No! I need to finish! I don't want to live anymore!" He cried. Calum felt hurt. His Luke, his used to be happy Luke, doesn't want to live anymore. "Wha—what?" Calum choked out. "I-I'm sorry Calum, my life is horrible, I've been raped, kidnapped, abused several times. I cannot do this anymore." Luke cried. Calum listened while he cleaned Luke's wrist, but he couldn't find himself to answer. "Calum, you've been the only one there for me. I know you told me to keep holding on, but I don't think I can do it anymore." Luke looked at him with bloodshot eyes, Calum did too.
"Why are you crying?" Luke asked. "Because, you're my babyboy, my princess, my one and only, the one I want to marry. Seeing you like this makes me heartbroken. I don't want to you end your life because I will try to make your life as beautiful as possible and one things for sure is that before I met you my life was shit. Then, you came into my life and everything started getting a whole lot better. I don't know where I'd be without you Luke. You made an impact on my life, a good one. I need you baby." Calum cried. "Please don't give up. I-I... I'll miss you too much." Calum began to cry. "I-I knot I've made some horrible mistakes, b-but you forgave me every time a-and I can't thank you enough for doing so b-because you are the one person in my life who truly matters and seeing you mad at me makes me m-mad at myself and I hate it." Calum sobbed.
"Baby, please stop crying. I hate seeing you cry, don't do this to me." Luke said. "Please don't take your life. I need you." Calum looked so vulnerable. "I won't, I'm so so sorry. Please stop crying babe." Luke hugged him. Luke wiped away his tears and Calum sniffled. "I'm sorry you had to see me like this." Calum apologized. "No need to worry. It's alright, you've seen me like that a dozen times and you've comforted me each and everyone. I think it's about time I returned the favor." Luke smiled. "Luke, Princess, don't take your life. You mean so damn much to me. I will not allow you to do that." Calum said. Luke nodded. "Now come on let's get to sleep." Calum said. Then they went to sleep, Calum holding Luke like always.
