Luke really did want a phone, but he had the electric bill, gas bill, and the water bill. The total was almost 300 dollars. Which, pretty much wiped Luke out so he's not getting a phone anytime soon. Luke sighed, unpacking some of his things. The memories of Calum and that girl. Luke mentally slapped her and glared. It was unbearable. He felt everything shatter. He thought Calum still had feelings for him, but I guess Luke thought wrong. But, he's not going to be sad today because he has his date with Jace today. They weren't going to a 5 star restaurant because Luke doesn't like being all fancy. But, they're not going to some fast food restaurant either. Jace wanted the best for Luke, so they aren't going to a restaurant, they're going roller skating.
Luke had a couple more hours until their date, he knew they were going roller skating so he went with a pair of skinny jeans and a crop top saying 'Boo you whore' cause Mean Girls is his absolute favorite.
8 o'clock came sooner than he wanted. But Jace came. He was so nervous. He was worried that he would do the wrong thing, say the wrong word.
"You ready?" He asked. Luke nervously nodded with a smile. Jace opened the door for Luke and Luke thanked him with a blush. Throughout the car ride Luke's hands been clammy and he kept fiddling with his fingers. "Why so nervous?" Jace asked, quickly glancing at Luke then back on the road. "I-I haven't been on a date in forever and I don't want to mess this up." Luke admitted shyly. "Aw no worries. You can always be comfortable around me. You know I won't judge you." Jace assured. "Yeah I know, but what if I do something stupid and you don't like my anymore." Luke said looking down. "That won't happen 'cuz I'm naturally stupid so that won't be a problem." Jace joked causing the nervous boy to chuckle.

Soon they were there and Luke has only received a couple disgusted looks towards him. He didn't mind though because he expected a few looks anyway, he paid no mind to it. Soon, they began skating. Jace was good at it, skating like a pro while Luke looked like a chicken trying to balance on one foot and trying to run at the same time. Luckily, Jace grabbed his hand and Luke gained his balance. They skated in a circle at least 6 times before Luke lost his balance and fell bring Jace with him. Both busted out with laughter, not caring if people gave them weird looks.
They exited the rink and ordered pizza and soda. They both dug in eagerly. They both decided to wait to eat something until the date so they won't waste any food and come off as rude.

They went back to skating and soon they found out that they had bumper cars so they went to that instead.
They kept playing until 2 hours after. Then, they hit the arcade. Jace won Luke a little teddy bear while Luke got Jace a penguin, you know because penguins are Luke's thing.
Hours went by and their date ended. Luke was still scared to live alone. There's nobody you can depend on to help with the bills. No one to help with the chores or anything. Just thinking about that was stressful enough. "Do you think I can stay at your house for tonight?" Luke asked. "No!" Jace coughed awkwardly. "I-I mean sorry I'm staying at my parents because my mums sick." Jace covered up the obviously lie.
