The Alpha's Human Mate

Chapter 2- Finding HER

Victor's POV

I am in the neighbouring pack training their pups when my company's receptionist Lacy tried to get to me. There had been a rogue attack in this pack last week. We helped them as they are our allies. The fighting skills of this pack are worst and hence we are here to train them because I can't keep on helping these people. The pack's alpha Daemon Black is a real daemon. He is ruthless, player and a perfect bad boy. The witches said that he doesn't have a mate and every one are happy about it except for him. He is looking for a perfect mate for himself and had already ruthlessly killed two of the girls who refused to be his mates. I personally hate him and the only reason of us helping them is the friendship between his father and my dad. Michael Black is a gentleman unlike his son. I felt Lacy trying to reach me again and so I allowed her. "Sorry to disturb you Alpha but a human is here to attend the interview. Should I send her away?" she asked and my heart skipped a beat. "NO!" I exclaimed immediately. "I mean no need to send her away. Ask her to wait for a while. I am coming." I said and immediately took off towards my company after informing my beta Ryder and asked him to wind up and meet me at the office.

First let me introduce myself. I am Victor Adams, Alpha of the largest and most powerful pack, The Full Moon pack. I am 23 and have my own business. I became Alpha when I turned 18 and have been waiting for my mate since then. My dad Richard and mom Veronica are the coolest parents. They gave my sister Rose and me everything. Dad owns a multinational company and the only thing he is crazy about after mom is about us. As I drove past the trees I couldn't help but think back to the time when I saw my mate for the first time.

Flashback::

I was discussing pack business with my beta Ryder, also my sister's mate and one of my best friend, and my third in command Jack, my other best friend, when dad called us. "Victor, I promoted one of my employees and appointed him in the headquarters. I know we never allow humans here but he is very efficient and will be of great help to my upcoming project. I know that I handed over the position to you and should have asked you before..." I cut him off. "Dad! You still have the right to take any decision. It's okay, let them come. If we feel any trouble we will send them back after this project. I'll go and check on them along with Ryder and Jack."

Next day, the three of us are hiding in the bushes opposite the house into which they are moving. After a while a car pulled up and a man and woman in their early 50's got down. They are humans and harmless. We began to move away when I smelt an amazing scent of roses and vanilla. "Sweetie, wake up baby. We are here." we heard the man speaking and I turned in time to see a girl getting out of the back seat. She has curly hair that reached till her waist and is wearing jeans with sweater. My wolf began to shout something but I am not able to concentrate on what he is trying to say as I heard the girl speak and it is so melodious. "Sorry dad, I don't know how I slept throughout the ride. I should be driving half the way. Why didn't you wake me up?" "It's okay honey you are sleeping and mom helped" the man said. "Now get down quickly. You two are to un pack." the woman added. "God!" the girl and the man groaned and the stirring increased in my stomach. "Stop complaining like kids. When will you both grow up?" the woman scolded them. "When you grow old" they said together and hi-fied. I couldn't help but smile at the beautiful bond they share. "I have had enough of you two. Now quickly get the luggage inside" the woman said and got in to open the door while the man and the girl began to take out the boxes.

The girl turned around and that's when the world around me stopped. Gorgeous would be a very small word to describe her. Black orbs, rosy lips, chubby cheeks, she is just like a goddess. Then I heard the most beautiful words in my life, 'MATE!' my wolf howled and I felt like the luckiest one on this earth. My 4 years wait is nothing compared to the gift I got, moon goddess blessed me with a princess. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Jack. "She is so damn hot and sexy! God I just..." He was cut off by my growl "MINE!!!" and they looked at in shock and disbelief. Ryder was the first to react "Congrats man. You got really lucky." "Yes bro. your wait turned fruitful. But man she looks so young. Is she even legal?" Jack said. "And also she is human" Ryder added but I don't give a damn about anything. She is mine and I will make her mine. "I don't care. Nothing matters to me. I got my mate and I am going to make her mine." I said and watched as she moved out to get the last box inside. Taking the small box into her hands she turned around and looked directly at the bushes behind which we are hiding. She looked at us for some time but is not able to spot us. After a while she shrugged and walked inside and closed the door behind her.

Flashback ends ::

I couldn't help the smile that automatically comes whenever I think about her. After getting back that day, I discussed everything with my parents. They are very happy for me. But it seems that having a human as a mate and that too a human Luna is very rare and last such occurrence is about a 1000 years back. Whatever it is, it doesn.t matter to me. Even if a human Luna is never heard of, I would still not let my mate go. I researched about my mate's family and found out that her name is Anna Yardley. She is 21 and graduated from college. Her father Steve is working in my dad's company since 23 years and her Mother Ruby owns a boutique. My mate is very sweet and calm. Everything about her is fine but I have to take things really slow till she accepts me. She being a human doesn't feel the pull as much as I do even though she does feel attracted to me.

I have been thinking of the ways to get her close to me so that I can get a chance with her and when Lacy linked me about her, I know that I got my perfect opportunity. I got her and am never going to let her go away from me. I reached office and parking the car in my usual spot, I rushed into my cabin from back side to change into my business clothes. Getting back inside in my tuxedo, I am informed that she is waiting for me in the waiting area. I stopped Lacy from calling her and went there myself to find her engrossed in a business magazine. She is wearing a knee length baby pink frock with white leggings and is looking so cute. Her big eyes moving along the lines in the magazine, her curls lightly swaying in the breeze, the expressions that she is making are just making it hard for me to resist myself from pulling her into my arms and kissing her senseless. I don't know if I should be happy that she is totally covered making it easy for me to control or sad that I can't see her.
