Meeting Her

Victor's POV

I stood there staring at here and after a while she lifted her head to look at me. I heard her heart beat increasing as she stood up staring at me and I got lost in her eyes. We stood there staring at each other, lost in each other's eyes and are brought back to this world with the closing of a door at a distance. She immediately looked away as heat began to rise to her cheeks and it is a vision to see her blushing.

"Hi, I am Victor Adams, CEO and MD of this company." I said forwarding my hand to avoid the awkward silence that is building up and she looked at me shocked. "Hello sir. I am Anna Yardley. I am here to give my interview" she said after a while taking my hand and tingles shot up my body with her touch. "Lacy had informed me about the appointment. Come on, let's go to my cabin for further talks" I said to control my feelings and began walking out. She followed me and we reached my cabin taking the elevator for 4th floor. There are only three cabins in this floor. The first is Jack's the second is Ryder's and the last one is mine. I opened the door and guided her in. Now she is in my cabin and soon she will be in my house, our home.

"So, tell me about yourself Miss Yardley" I asked as soon as we took our seats. "I am 21 and graduated from college. We moved in here recently. I got scholarship from the state university and like to work till the university begins" she said. University! I mean seriously! God she is a genius. But she said she got scholarship in state university and would be working only till university stars. My wolf became sad that she is here only for a few days. "You could have hid that part, about you leaving after a few days." I said unable to hold in my disappointment about her leaving. Also I am curious as to why she disclosed that information. People will usually hide such information to get the job. "I could have sir, but I prefer to be honest. Even if I get the job hiding this from you, I would not be able to be happy about my success" she said. She is perfect as a Luna and also as a mate. I feel myself blessed to have her all for myself, the very thought that she is made for me is making me mad with happiness. "I completely understand if you are not willing to take me in." she said bringing me out of her thoughts. "And what made you think that?" I asked her. I would be a mad man if I let her go. Even if she is not my mate, I would have taken her in. "What does that mean sir." She asked me politely. "It means that who would not want to take in an honest employee! You are definitely in Miss Yardley. Congratulations." I said forwarding my hand.

"I prefer Anna sir and thank you. When should I join?" she asked taking my hand causing warmth to spread across me. "From now itself if you are okay with it Anna and I prefer Victor." I said. "Okay si... I mean Victor. What is the work I have to do and where do I have to sit?" she asked and I smiled at her sincerity. "You are MY PERSONAL assistant. You need to keep track of all my appointments and works. You have to assist me to my meetings with clients and your desk will be over there. Till now I have managed without a PA but now our business expanded and I will need assistance. So you have no previous records or guidance to direct you. You have to begin the recording process. I'll help you with the needed details. Come on, I'll introduce you to everyone and your desk will be set by then." I said and guided her to the staff floor. "The basement is the parking. The first floor has the reception, waiting area and store room where we keep all the records and documents. The second floor has conference hall and canteen. Third is staff floor and fourth is admin floor." I informed her as we got down. I introduced her to every on and watched as she greeted everyone warmly with a sweet smile.

Moving back up, I took her to Ryder's cabin where Jack and Ryder are discussing about the pack stuff. "This is Ryder and he is Jack, my best friends and partners and guys she is Anna Yardley, MY PERSONAL assistant." I introduced them to one another. They smiled at my possessiveness and greeted her with a 'Hi'. "Hello sir, its pleasure meeting you." Anna said. "Come on Anna, we are not that old. Call us Ryder and Jack." they said and she smiled at them. The attender informed that her table is set and so we got back. I began explaining her everything. "God Victor, this is so confusing. Will I be able to manage?" she asked looking at me with a cute pout and I held back myself with great difficulty from kissing it away. "You definitely can Anna. Don't worry; I will always be there to help you." I said placing my hand on hers and felt her relaxing immediately. Warmth spread across my body due to tingles from her touch and I heard her heart beat increasing along with mine.
