First day with HER

Victor's POV

"Come on Anna." I said taking her hand into mine and walking to the front. "You forgot to introduce your new assistant to us Victor." Daemon said and I just want to kill him. "She is MY PERSONAL assistant Anna Yardley. And Anna he is the client Daemon." I said through gritted teeth controlling myself. We settled down and began discussing about the project. Daemon kept staring at Anna with hunger in his eyes and I found Anna flinching away. I placed my hand on the top of her's under the table, smiling at her, assuring her that I would take care of Daemon and felt her immediately relaxing. The presentation continued for about an hour and most of the time Daemon kept staring at her with his predatory gaze and I just want to tear his flesh with my bear hands. After the presentation, Stacy forwarded the agreement.

"Anna, study this bond and see if we can agree to it." I said handing Anna the file as I am not in the mood to concentrate and also I believe in Anna more than myself. She began going through the agreement while I sat there controlling my wolf from jumping on Daemon. "Victor I think maybe we should reconsider the 13th clause." she said pointing it to me. "Daemon, I want you to eliminate the 13th clause." I said taking the file from her and she looked at me in shock. "You didn't even read it Victor. How can you trust whatever she said? I have prepared the agreement myself. There is nothing wrong in it. Everything is as we have agreed previously." Stacy said and I just want to drag her face on the floor for talking about my Anna. "I can trust her with this company Stacy. If she said it is wrong then I am sure it is." I said glaring at her. "But she didn't say it is wrong. She just said that we need to reconsider it and I know that there is nothing wrong in that clause." Stacy said trying to sound seductive but it came out as a shrill cry and I shuddered in disgust as she came to me and tried to touch me.

I lost all my control stood up to settle things with these people but Ryder stopped me. "Victor, I'll handle this. Anna, what does the clause say?" Ryder asked Anna. "It says that their representative who will be staying at our office till the completion of this project will have access to all the information that he thinks is needed to him and he can personally get it." she said. "So Miss Yardley what's wrong in that?" Stacy asked her folding her hands at her chest challenging her but Anna sat silently and it confused me. "I already told you Victor..." Stacy began but I cut her off raising my hand. "Anna..." I said looking at her curiously because even I want to know the reason. "It means that the person can get whatever information he felt that he need by himself. For that we have to grant him access to the store room and also to the information system of the company." she said looking at Stacy. "But how can we allow him the access? I mean there would be other information there as well and some of it may be confidential." she said looking at me and I smiled at her. I couldn't help but admire her. She had detected one more of Daemon's cheating even though unknowingly. All this while we have unknowingly provided them with all our data. "So Stacy, what do you say now?" I asked turning to her. "I...It do...doesn't me...mean that...that way." she said shuttering. "it just means that..." she began but I already had enough.

"We brought the agreement papers formed according to our agreed terms. We will be signing the." I said standing up; as I had already asked Anna to prepare the agreement; and heard Anna gasp, probably at the intensity in my voice. Soon they agreed and Daemon and I signed the agreement. "This time Stacy will be coordinating the project from our side" Daemon said hugging me. "And nice meeting you Anna. Hope I'll see you soon" he said moving towards Anna with outstretched hands and I clenched my fist noticing the underlying meaning. I quickly moved to stand in front of Anna, blocking her from Daemon. "It's Miss Yardley for you Daemon and you will be seeing her only one more time, when we meet you at the end of the project." I said glaring at him. "Come on Anna." I said turning to Anna as I guided her out placing my hand on the small of her back and smiled when she leaned into my touch. We came out and drove back to the office.
