Day 8 - San Francisco

The sound of hushed voices stirred me from my sleep, my eyes peeled open only to be greeted by Pat, Garret, Jared, and Kennedy hovering over me. I rubbed my tired eyes and stared back at them.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" I mumbled, my voice raspy.

Garret laughed. "We're just trying to determine if you and John slept together or not." He stated, keeping his voice low.

I shot up at their comment, my head snapping towards where John was still peacefully sleeping. Turning back towards the boys, I shot them a glare. "No we did not sleep together!" I silently shouted.

I slowly got up from the couch, grabbing my phone- which had fallen to the floor, I made my way to the front of the bus. The guys trailing behind me, closing the door behind them so John could rest.

"Then what did happen last night?" Jared asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

My cheeks heated up and I had to bite back the smile as I replayed the steamy kiss John and I had shared. "Nothing, we just talked and then passed out." I lied.

"You're lying!" Pat exclaimed.

Before I could reply, the bus rolled to a stop. I peered out the window to see we had stopped at a gas station, perfect time for me to escape their interrogation. "Gotta go guys, thanks for hanging with me last night though!" And I left on that. Quickly skipping out of the bus and hopping onto mine which was parked not too far away.

Entering the bus, all eyes were on me. James smirked and tsked at me. "Miss Williams, where have you been?"

"Sorry guys, I would of came back but we passed out." I told them, throwing my hair into a messy bun.

Will popped his head into the front lounge. "Who is 'we'?"

"Uh" I tried to think of something they wouldn't tease me about.

"It was John wasn't it!" James shouted, looking like a excited child.

"Shut it, Jameson." I sang as I walked back to the bunks, closing the curtain behind me as I crawled into my small cave.

A blissful sigh left me as I laid my head down on the soft pillow, wrapping myself in the blankets. We still had a bit of a drive due to traffic but for once I was thankful for traffic because it meant I was able to sleep more. I couldn't help but wonder what would happen between John and I now. Would things be awkward? Would we both pretend like the kiss never happened? My mind wondered until I eventually drifted to sleep, the day was sure to be busy and I needed every bit of rest I could get.

I was shaken awake too soon, I groaned, pushing whoever was disturbing me away. Unfortunately that didn't work because they ripped the covers off me, exposing my skin to the brisk air conditioning.

"Bree, c'mon it's time to get up." It was Evan. I peeled my eyes open, just staring at him.

With a heavy sigh I nodded and he left me, my body felt heavy as I pulled myself up, hopping out of the warm comfort of my bunk. I stretched and let out a yawn before heading out to the front of the bus.
