 Dani’s POV:

I thought I heard voices in the hallway when a nurse came out of my room after she took off  all the tubes that  were no longer necessary. I think I heard a familiar male voice. I hope that´s that Bruno guy because he needs some explanation to do.

"Bruno...?" I said. The door opened slowly and I saw him. He looked a little scared standing there at the doorway looking at me.

"Come in, I don't bite. I guess." He smiled at me and walked toward the chair. He took it and put it next to my bed and sat down.

"How are you feeling?" He asked me giving me another smile that showed his dimples. Damn dimples. I feel like I’m blushing a little.

"Confused..." I said looking down on my hands.

"Yeah... I bet you do." He said nodding his head.

"I don't know whether to cry, scream or laugh ... what should I do in this situation.. you know?" I said looking deeply into his eyes. He has beautiful eyes...brown like warm chocolate. "I was waiting for you..." I continued.

"You did?" He said like he was surprised hearing that I was waiting for him.

"Yeah. I need some answers and I think you have them." I said and looked at him.

"Did Dr.Owens tell you what happened?"

"He just told me that I fell and hit my head on the rock. He actually said that you want to explain to me what happened."

"Yeah I do, but maybe we should wait for Ryan. He should be here any second." He said turning his head towards the door and then back at me.

"I think I can’t wait any longer. I need some answers right now or I´ll completely lose my mind." I said nervously playing with my bracelet.

"I'll tell you everything I know and if you have additional questions maybe Ryan could answer them. Ok?" He said and I just nodded my head so he can start talking already. I need answers now.

"Well Ryan took G. for running. G is my dog but Ryan takes care of him when I can’t. They went for a run at Runyon Canyon and they ran past you. Then G. started barking at you. I guess you got scared and started running faster and he ran after you. Then you slipped and fell. You rolled a bit down the hill and then hit a rock. Believe me I don't have any idea why G. did that, he never did that before. He´s big but he is a baby, he’s so calm and gentle, even with little kids. I have little nephews and they are constantly playing with him, and nothing bad has ever happened​​. You gotta believe me. He didn't mean to hurt you. All he probably wanted to do was cheer you up because Ryan said that you looked like you were crying. Dogs can sense it." He said almost in one breath.

"I don't know if he wanted to cheer me up or eat me all I know is that I’m in a hospital now. Without my memory. So.. actually this is your fault because he is your dog." I said a little angry. I cant believe that I ended up in a hospital because of this stupid accident. Because of a dog, A DOG.  This is crazy. I’m so annoyed right now.

"How is this my fault? I wasn’t even there." He said with a confused look on his face.

"Yeah, but he is your dog, right?" I know what Dr.Owens said about him and what he did for me but he is getting on my nerves a little.

"Yes, but Ryan was with him then and he is with him more than I am."

"Well you could train him better so he wouldn't run after random people and scare the shit out of them!"
