2B (Bruno Mars fanfic)

Chapter 39

Dani´s P.O.V.

When we got back into the house, Jaimo came up to me running with a ball in his hands. He wanted Bruno and I to play soccer with him. It's almost like he knew that we needed a little fun right now. I took off my sandals and got ready to kick Bruno's ass. We were on different teams. When it comes to games, I've discovered that I'm extremely competitive, especially when I'm playing against Bruno. There's something especially sweet when I beat him. 

We were divided into two teams: Jaimo, Liam, Jaime, Cindia and I against Bruno, Nyjah, Zyah,Tahiti and Presley. 

“Are you ready to lose?” Bruno said teasing  me. 

“If I were you, I wouldn't be so confident.” I didn't let him to intimidate me. I couldn't let him intimidate me. It's not in my nature. 

Because of my accent, Bruno has concluded that I was from somewhere in Europe. Soccer is a European sport so, I got this. At least, I think that I got this. I have no idea if I know how to play, but I'll do my best. The birthday boy is on my team and I can't let him lose. 

We didn't have real goals so we improvised with chairs. Jaimo made the first goal so we were in the lead. The next goal was made by Liam with my help. I almost died from laughing at Bruno's fake angry tantrum. 

“You still think that I'm going to lose?” I asked him with cocky attitude when I took the ball from the “goal”. 

“Give me that ball!” He snapped at me. He grabbed the ball out of my hands while he gave me a stare. We smirked at each other for a long time. 

“Not so confident anymore, are we?” I said. It was so much fun teasing him. He was always in a competitive mood and seeing him angry over a game made me laugh. At the same time, he looked very attractive. It's hard to be mad at him when he has that angry sparkle in his eyes. It makes me want to throw myself at him and kiss him immediately. 

I guess we stared at each other too long because Presley shouted at us, "Are you two playing or what?” I quickly got back to my side of the "field" before we become suspicious to her and others. We were still technically hiding our relationship from everyone. 

We had so much fun playing with the kids so others couldn't resist staying out of the game. They joined us in soccer on the grass. While we were playing, Jessica and Tiara sat next to the pool staring at us. More importantly, they were staring directly at me. Every now and then, they whispered something to each other, and when they did their attention was on me. 

I know that Jessica hates me for a well known reason but I didn't know Tiara had anything against me. I've never even met her. I never spoken a word with Tiara so obviously Jessica put something in her head. Whatever that is I won't let it to bother me. I came here to enjoy myself and have some fun. That's just what I'll do. I'm gonna have fun while kicking Bruno's ass wether Jessica is here or not. 

The score was 4 to 4 when Presley got a really good idea on how to spice up the game. The team who scores the next goal will throw the capitan of the opposite team into the pool. Everyone decided that the captains of the teams are Bruno and I because we were bickering at each other through the whole game and one of us needs to cool off. Victory is not enough, now I'll get to enjoy throwing him into the pool. He threw me in the pool that day when he got back from New York, now is my time for payback. 

Just when we were in the heat of the game, Ryan came and jumped into it. He stole the ball from Jaime and started running towards my goal. 

"NO!!! Go on the other goal!!! Other one!!!” I shouted and thank God he listened to me. He then scored a goal though Bruno's legs for my team.
