Chapter 16

Bruno POV

Just when I leaned so much that I almost touched her lips I felt that something is vibrating in my pocket. Phone. I quickly stepped back so she didnt noticed what I was going to do and took the phone out of my pocket at the moment when it started ringing . Phone jerked her from acting panic attack and she sat up as if nothing had happened. I wonder what would have happened if the phone had not rung . I looked at the caller ID , it was my sister Jaime .

"Hi sis , what's up ? " I said when I answered.

"Dont  you tell me Hi sis , what's going on with you? Are you crazy ? " She sounded a little angry.

" I'm fine, thanks for asking. " I said, totally confused because I did not understand why she's mad .

"Cut the crap and tell me what´s going on. Did you completely lost your mind? " she said, still sounding angry. What's her problem? Is something happened that I do not know . What the hell? She is the most gentle person that I know and it´s not common for her to act like this. 

" What's wrong Jaime ? " I asked her.

"You tell me what's wrong . Did you invite a complete stranger to live with you?" Oh that's the problem . Now I get why she is so angry. She's my big sister , always looking out for me but who told her that I invited Dani to live with me and Ryan.

"Dani excuse me , I'll need to take this one inside" I said with my hand covering the phone so Jaime does not hear me . She smiled and nodded. "Jaime calm down, everything's fine." I said when I walked away from Dani and walked into the living room so she cant hear that my sister is freaking out on the other side cause of her.

"I will not calm down until you explain what is happening." Oh God, she is really mad.

"Who told you?" I can not wait to hear this.

"I called Eric and it seemed to me that I hear Geronimo barking in the background. I thought you were there, and he explained to me that  Ryan brought G. there for couple of days and that you're brought complete stranger into the house."  it seems that she knows everything. But Ryan´s explanation sucks or just Eric exaggerated everything. She is not some stranger. I didnt pick her up on the street or something like that. For Gods sake G. sent her to hospital and she lost her memory. What was I supposed to do?

"I guess that you don't know all details because if you do you wouldn't freak out like this" I said to her and with calm voice explain everything that happened. Of all the people I knew that she would  understand this the best because she is  leading humanitarian organization that helps people and I was doing just that. I´m helping Dani.

"Ok Bruno but it would be better if I heard this from you. I wouldn't freak out like this. You know I was just worried about you? You´re my little brother." she said. 

"Yeah I know but I´m not that little anymore so relax. I can take care off myself and Dani is a nice girl. Dont worry that much" No matter how old I am she would always look at me as a younger brother and I appreciate that but it annoys me some times.

"So.. this girl Dani.. when will I meet her?" I just waited for her to ask that. I knew her too well. 

"I don't know. She is still little bit weak and confused with everything and I don't want you all to jump on her at the same time. We'll think of something when she feels a little better. Ok?" I hope that she will be satisfied with this answer. 

"Ok B. Take care off your self. Love you"

"Love you too sis, bye."
