I was sitting on the plane and looking out at the early morning sky. I was falling asleep since I had to get up at five in the morning in order to catch my flight but all that didn't matter because I was going back to London. I had realized on my trip back home that London was now my home and I was even considering moving there.
The plane was horribly boring so I slept for most of it. Ellie was going to pick me up and I was excited to see her again as well. I felt something on my arm and realized that the man sitting next to me had his head on my shoulder. I just rolled my eyes since I hated when people did that and moved a little but his head ended up hitting the seat and bobbing up fast.
"Sorry. Didn't mean for you to hit your head." I said.
He shook his head, clearly still asleep, and just nodded in my direction. I looked out the window and realized the plane was descending
"The plane is descending. Seatbelt's fastened please." The flight attendant says in an all too nice voice.
I waited patiently for the plane to land and within fifteen minutes I found myself walking off the plane and heading out to the gate where Ellie would be waiting. I saw her holding a sign with my name and I laughed at her lame joke.
"Nice." I said while giving her a hug.
"The limo is waiting." She said with a laugh.
I rolled my eyes and laughed with her as we continued to walk down to baggage claim. After waiting a good hour I finally had my luggage and we're off to the flat.
"Thank god we don't have classes today."
"Yeah, I know." I said with a grin.
"Tonight the lads are going on a show and I was invited. I made chicken and put in the fridge. Cook at four hundred and twenty five degrees for an hour. I'll be back by midnight." She said while getting into Niall's car, he was nice enough to let her borrow it now.
"Ok." I said while putting one of my bags in the back.
We both got in the car and she turned up the heat since the winter air was frigid. I was warming my hands by rubbing them together and wished I had worn a thicker coat.
"Sorry that I'm leaving tonight. I can stay if you want." She said.
"Go out. I'll be fine." I said while giving her a fake smile.
She believed it and smiled in return. Once I got back to the flat I went straight to my bedroom and laid on the bed. I missed it so much and wanted to just lay in it for days.
Ellie walked in and laid down next to me. Both staring up at the ceiling, silent, until she started to speak.
"Niall is going public with it tonight. With everything. The pregnancy...our relationship." She said.
"So it's official now?" I asked.
"Mhm."
"Well I'll be here for you if it gets tough." I said, remembering the constant hate I got bashed with.
She looked over at me and smiled, "Thanks." I nodded my head and looked back up at the ceiling. There was a faint knock on the door so she got up to go get, figuring it was Niall.
"Hey...oh everyone is here?" I heard her say.
"Yeah. You don't have to pick Brooke until later right? Mind if we came over to hang."
I got out of bed and walked out into the living room to see all five lads standing there with big smiles on their faces, all but one.
"Oh." Niall says while giving me a look.
